INFINITE OBSESSION OUTDOORS
United States
Приєднався 14 січ 2024
Welcome to our channel. We are a husband and wife team with an infinite love, not only for each other and for our family, but for the outdoors. Whether it be fishing for walleye, deer hunting or chasing a spring gobbler you can be sure we will be out there. Our main obsession is going after big water walleye either on Lake Erie in our Ranger boat or on the hardware of Little Bay De Noc, ice camping in our Otter Resort. We are excited to bring you along on our adventures and share our infinite obsession for the outdoors
THE FALL BRAWL CHRONICLES 2024 WEEK 5: THE NIGHT BITE
First off, we have to apologize for taking so long to get Week 5 out to you guys. Things like getting ready for our first ice fishing trip of the year got in the way. Uggh...NOT!!! Stay tuned to the channel for our ice fishing adventures.
Now back to the Fall Brawl Chronicles - Week 5. Week 5 was about more of the same but at the same time brought us some new experiences. The first of which was trying out the Z-Man Graph shad with our FFS. This bait was very impressive to say the least and gave us immediate results as you will see. We used the 3/8 oz. just to make sure we could combat the wind and waves. Nevertheless, this has quickly become one of our new fav's!!!
The 2nd new experience is finally having success fishing at night. We have fished into the evening several times with little to moderate luck. So it never really became a tool in our arsenal. But this year we vowed to be successful at it. This time we fished Saturday until dark then headed back to camp for dinner and a little bonfire time before taking a couple hour nap. We got back out on the water about 1:30-ish in the morning. Conditions were right, cool and calm for the most part with partly cloudy skies. Well, it didn't take long before Amber and Tandy got a quick double on some really nice fish. That was, fortunately, a testament for what was to come. It was an absolute lights out Walleye slug fest al night. The Rapala Scatter Rap and Deadeye Juniors really proved themselves. However, as the sun began to rise Sunday morning the bite really slowed. But we didn't give up and Amber was able to reel in her 2nd 9+ pounder in less than a week. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as she was knocked out of the top spot in the Women's division. She may be down but she sure as heck isn't out.
Stay tuned to the next episode of the Fall Brawl Chronicles. Will Amber regain the top spot in the Women's Division? You will have to watch to find out.
Thanks for watching everyone. We truly appreciate it. Please subscribe to the channel, give us a like and tell all your friends to do the same. We have lots more content yet to come.

THE FALL BRAWL CHRONICLES WEEK 4: ON THE BOARD

Welcome Back. Unfortunately, we were not able to make it down for week 3 so we were more than ready to get back on the water. The weather and water temps were, for the most part, the same as they have been. Nevertheless, we knew exactly where we were going and how we were going to fish them On the first day we headed back to the same spot west of the Huron River. We fired up the LiveScope and A...

Welcome back to the Fall Brawl Chronicles. In week two we start out where we left off the first week, just west of the Huron River. Water temps remain warmer than normal but the shallower water seems to be a little cooler so we are hoping that will draw some big walleye in. Day One - We begin the day trolling for a short time until its light enough to start jigging. We managed to catch a couple...

The 2024 Fall Brawl is finally upon us. We decide to start off where we ended up last year, fishing out of Cleveland. The first morning finds us launching out of EdgeWater with the plan to utilize our Livescope and Active Target to work the shallower flats. Our bait of choice for both of us was a Kalin's 3/8 oz Google Eye Jig in the glow color. We managed to pick up a couple decent walleye betw...

The Fall Ball Chronicles is, in essence, a video journal of our attempt to catch the biggest Walleye during one of the largest, if not thee largest, Fishing derby in America, the Fall Brawl, on Lake Erie. Follow us throughout the duration of the Fall Brawl to several our favorite fall Lake Erie destinations as we show you our set ups and methods to hopefully fool a double-digit Walleye and take...

Welcome Back to the channel. In this video, we finally suck it up and fish our first LEWT (Lake Erie Walleye Trail) tournament out of Geneva State Park (Ohio). Geneva is one of our favorites places on Lake Erie to fish. It just has that big water feel especially when you are 10 to 20 some miles out. Our first day of pre-fish was a learning day for us. More for handling the large waves thanks to...
Chaos in Canada Part 2

Welcome back to part 2 of our epic day on Lake Erie just across the border. We ended up catching just over 60 fish between the 2 of us. Most fish were between 5-8 pounds. We were fishing depths of 14 to 18 feet so our leads were pretty short. The cranks we ran were Dead Eyes and bandits. Make sure to check out M&M custom painted lures and Slimshady custom baits for some awesome fish catching ba...

Welcome back. In this video we take a trip across the border into the Canadian waters of Lake Erie near the Colchester area. Some of you may be familiar with the windmill area. We have fished the pre-spawn here the past two springs and the fishing has been lights out every time. If you haven't experienced this bite you certainly need to give it a try. On this day we caught in excess of 60 fish ...

Mid December Lake Erie Walleye Fishing! Zombie Attack!!!
Just met you on the ice. I did watch your video a week or so ago.
@@jefftrimble1137 it was great to meet you!
Where can I purchase the TIP - UP Alarm 🚨 that Y’ALL used in this video please ??? Happy New Year 🎉 ❄️🎣🧊
@@brianfeeney9493 we got ours at blades bait and tackle up there in Kipling and then a few more at scheels.
What am I looking for a Scheels ???? What is it called and what does it look like please ? Thanks for the help ! B ❄️🎣🧊
@ deep freeze blue tipz fishing alarm. You can use without the transmitter via your phone but transmitter is nice too.
Thank You 🎉 I don’t understand how it works ????? If you can use your phone, why spend another $50.00 for the transmitter ???? Sorry to be stupid …. I’ve never seen this product before and Your video was my first look. Please advise. Thank You Much, B ❄️🎣🧊
@ you put the alarm on the tip up flag rod. We use electrical tape around it to hold it on better than just snapping it on because some flag posts are different sizes and felt loose. As far as the transmitter we got it in case we didn’t have service or the phone died or fell down the hole (🤦♀️) we could still use the alarms. But anyway when the fish bites and the flag goes off the alarm is then upright and goes off. We can try to do a better video showing how they work soon. But feel free to ask more questions if our answer doesn’t make sense. Thanks for watching.
We fished it 2yrs ago in early Feb. Overnight shanty for two nights and fishing was terrible. One 6inch perch in 2days between 3guys
@@magnump.i.7998 that’s fishing 😜. We have had a couple really good days and caught multiple bigger fish and that’s what keeps us coming back to try again.
Nice vid clip
@kyleolmstead7407 thank you
Awesome video. Nice to see you catch some on “G-Spot”… The fish were able to find it without any problems…😂

So, you were camping during this time?

@@InfiniteObsessionOutdoors That's awesome! Which campground?
@@Moondog9322 East Harbor
@@InfiniteObsessionOutdoors I've camped/fished there a few times and really like it, but have never launched at Dempsey. We always use the campground ramp. Going back there this Spring. Can't wait.
@@Moondog9322 we can’t either! Good luck and maybe we will see you there.
Just found your video. Did you stay in the area during the Brawl? Nice job.
@@Moondog9322 yes Marblehead area.
I enjoy your videos… would be nice to see a little bit more of the campfire talk, boat landing crowds and boat preparation! Thanks!!!
Thank you for watching. Yes, we agree. We are still learning and we appreciate your input and will try to do more of that in future videos
I fished from east 55th caught a 9 lber
@@Rock8664 from shore or boat?
I see you casting out for them walleye are they on the bottom or up in the water column
Definitely both. We were finding them on the bottom to near 5 ft below the surface depending on how deep we were fishing. Thanks for watching
I am curious about your livescope mounts. What kind of pole do you have? Also what kind of mount do you have for your screen? Links like you have the black box on there as well?
We use the HD Summit Shuttle to mount the screen and black box to. There is also room in the compartment under the screen that will hold up to a 52ah battery(depending on brand and dimensions). There are accessory on off switches too so that you can attach lights and Glow lights for ice fishing. We will be doing this. To mount the shuttle to the boat we use the HD shuttle docking system on a Cisco mount. To mount the pole to the track system on the boat we use the LS MAX pole mount. We started out using the standard summit pole but recently switched to the carbon fiber version and LOVE it. The portability to take the entire system ice fishing with us was very important. The Active Target system is wired directly into the boat and we use the Brew City pole for that and really like it as well but it is not portable enough to take out on the ice. You can find all of the Summit Fishing Equipment items at www.summitfishingequipment.com We are hoping to have some ice fishing videos soon and will try to talk more about the set up. Thanks for watching and tight lines.
Do you remember what size Google I jig you was using because I have some of those by the way you're catching some nice walleyes
Mostly 3/8 oz. Yes we caught some good ones, Especially in a video coming up.
Cedar point in the background
Yes it is!
I did not know you can still jig for them walleyes in the fall time
Absolutely!!
Congrats guys, it was great meeting you at the dinner. Great video.
It was great to meet you as well!! Congrats to you both as well.
Glad you enjoyed it. We will have more coming soon!
Thanks for the great videos!
Great video going to lake of the woods we do every year but I want to try Mille lacs with my daughter would Randy’s be good to stay thanks for info
@@prehn2828 I would say Randys would be a good place to stay. He’s very knowledgeable and knows the ice very well! Good luck to you and your daughter!
This lake always kicks my tail last time was -20 at night had 1 dink walleye have made 3 trips there and all have been rough def will be back tho
@@Norwisco it’s a tougher lake than most for sure! We’ve had some really good days and some really bad days but always a great time!
Hey gang- we've been catching hybrid walleye N of the border. Most have white spots on the tail and almost fluorescent aquamarine on their cheeks, with some being a metal blue-gray. You seeing anything like them in your nets. If there is a way, I could send a couple pics. These fish are gaining attention to the extent one of our main outdoor magazines has an article upcoming. Tight lines folks.
You can send pics to infiniteobsessionoutdoors@gmail.com. We haven’t noticed anything that I remember. But would love to see pics and read the article. Thanks for watching and tight lines!
Wasn't fishing a tournament, but was fishing the Ontario shore of Erie (actually straight due north of you guys) same time as your 1st day pre-fish- that 'walleye chop' was something else, wasn't it ? You seem to be doing about the same as us for frequency and size of fish. Glad you guys had a blast, and survived 😁 Tight lines.
Thanks for watching. We have always wanted to check out that part of the lake. Yes, the walleye chop was something but we are glad we decided to tough it out
I will be on the shoreline casting out for my walleyes 😂😂
Shorefisherman catch all the big ones anyways lol
I love walleye fishing but I won't be out there in the 5 footers
Lol. Its a great time!!! insert sarcasm

This would be a great video if I didn’t have to listen to your electronics beep the whole damn time
Thank you. We will keep that in mind and do our best to cut them out on future videos
Actually I believe the sound you are referring to is the Cleveland Crib Bouy Horn. It is definitely annoying.
Crib Horn 🙄🎣
i would throw her in the lake lol she is a little mouthy
I am surprised the walleye are still in the Cleveland area. Sorry I winterized the boat.
There out there all year long Brother. They never leave. Not every single fish migrates . Less than one percent go to Toledo to Spawn. So says Travis Hartman. He's been in Fishery's Biologist on Erie for over thirty years. So , I think he knows what he he's talking about 🎣✌️
I was fishing next to you lol
LOL! How did you do?
Nice video brah
Thank you for watching
Haha
Good work and nice video !!
Thank you very much. We appreciate the kind words. Thanks for watching
I fish the Western basin of lake Erie right by Davis Bessie power plant jigging for walleyes in April with purple hair jigs
We do fish the western basin some as well in the spring. Good luck and tight lines.
I see you don't keep walleyes just catch and release
For the most part we catch and release but we will keep fish here and there. Thanks for watching.
Very nice walleyes are y'all in Cleveland Ohio
We are actually from the middle of Michigan. But Ohio, Lake Erie specifically, is our home away from home. We spend most of our weekends fishing walleye on Lake Erie. Thanks again for watching
