I got this base model HR-V S last July, and I drive it with confidence. It doesn’t feel like a base model at all-superb!

I am based in Pakistan and own a Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6. Your review was to the point and full of very useful information. I too share your opinion about road noise and slightly bouncy ride as both versions share pretty much the same chassis. You did not say if this car has a spare wheel or just an inflating kit. I am waiting for the Chery dealers here to offer the PHEV version. I think I may go for it.

There is no volume and audio button on the streering wheel. Side mirrors are also manual and no electronic adjusted/ retract button. Hood is bolted no lift mechanism. Inside there's enough room for small storage vs very minimum on the back. Lastly check below/ under the body, not enough protection for the motor and battery.

Yes it folds flat. But it’s a bit tricky. You have to pull out the seats on the 2nd row for the back to fall flat.

The color grading on this video has too much yellow. Was this on purpose?

Good thing I test drove this shitty SUV before buying. The motor sounds soooo cheap like a lawn mower / cheap motorcycle motor! Even when lightly throttling the accelerator

It's the smooth quick motor that got me 😊 fuel efficiency is a bonus
