You better sing, David Peaston!!! This is one of my all-time favorites, but it's my first time watching this performance at the Apollo. He tore this song clean up, lol. My Lord, what an enormous talent he was. In 1989, the year I graduated from high school, "Can I?" received regular airplay. THIS is the type of music my generation came up on. No wonder we are not impressed with a lot of this new stuff. It just cannot compare. Rest in Power, David Peaston. You did that! ❤
