CUSTOM 327 XP Warm Up
Переглядів 932 роки тому
Warming up the Husqvarna 372xp for the first time with the new muffler mod, all that needs to be done now is to tune it the next time I'm in the bush. Also just order a big bore 52cm top end kit for this beast, also see if Chinese reproduction parts can stand up to the test of time and abuse of forestry
HAZARD TREE part 2
Переглядів 592 роки тому
In this video I will be felling a 60 foot white spruce full of dead limbs and bark missing all over the top, tree had a bad lean towards the trail with plenty of targeted/taped off trees around it making this spruce a hazardous tree to anyone working around it.

HAZARD TREE and first tree for my 372xp farmertec kit

In this video you will see me felling this 40-50 foot tall dead poplar, the tree was missing a top and was pretty much rotten all the way through, the last 8-feet of the tree crumbled upon impact

Welding up the frame to go on our welding cart Part 1
Woww...
Chinese junk !!!
No further a do?
Was that the big bore kit saw did you notice much difference
Indeed it was, and I didn't notice a crazy change apart from it being a bit snappier when I used to run nothing but 20" bars, but when I put a 30" bar on it with a full chisel skip chain, that's when I noticed the difference in the way holds it's rpm very well when dogged in and burying the bar
What song?
Sixteen Tonnes by Ernie Ford
back with this amazing content
premium content as usual
What is the max RPM I should go on this? It cuts well in the cut and I have no problem getting through wood, but when I set it down after using it for a while it dies almost as soon as i set it down. What screw should I adjust?
Which kit did you buy. I just picked up a 372 from a local carver for 400 can.
I went with the Adefol 52MM kit off of Amazon as it was the cheapest at C$68.99 as I've been testing the longevity of Chinese clone parts with that 372 Farmertec kit saw. So far if you want longevity and trust in your parts I'd still say spend the extra bit for a hyway kit. But again when it comes to cheap parts, if the saw grenades itself, it's still a $70 top end.
I planned on going hyway. Just wanted to see if that was the kit you were using. Was there much of difference in the big bore kit? I'll but a cheap Chinese kit to learn how to port on before doing it on an more quality topend.
@@Thatyellow850xmr With the big bore installed I noticed it had a bit of a higher low end torque figure good for hauling long chain and milling, maybe even a bit snappier that stock however that could just be a slight placebo effect and/or altitude difference from my shop to where I was working the day after
Been missin the little 550 out at our playground.
Is the Stihl 028 av super still got compression? We should drop a tree with it. Maybe borrow a thin bar and chain from the ms261????
things still chugging along, been needing a test log to do a video i had on the to do list "50cc saw showdown"
Also, the lock on the gas shed at the Clampett's is frozen cock stiff. Propane torch tomorrow so I can get the rest of the gear out.
things cant get the slightest bit of moisture in them in the winter or they are never budging
The 372xp did well starting in that cold, under 10 pulls. I was expecting an edit. Did you do a tune up?
yup, tuned it for winter and 40:1 mix still had what ever tune was on it during the fall and running 15:1 break in mix
When you're stuck at home instead of cutting trees, make a video 😉 Still loving the new intro ♥️
could tell i haven't cut wood in a while eh? lol, when im making random videos in the shop
