If you drink distilled water, you need to put mineral and electrolytes back into the water. You should not drink distilled water every day all the time, especially most distilled water comes in a plastic bottle at the grocery grocery store. Hi Samuel, as funny as it sounds, yes. The purpose of the vortex is to increase the exposure of the surface area of the water with oxygen. Since the recommended amount of water to drink is a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day, this means that you will have to mix quite a lot :) The Swirl was designed to help you scale this process and remind you to drink plenty of water throughout the day!

Right, a rotating magnetic field causes the vortex to form, just like in magnetic stirrers used in labs. Yet the aesthetic plays a role here (as does not occur on the labs product) which altogether raises water consumption and hydration. Or, to put it simply, the everyday experience is ENTIRELY different. Furthermore, The Swirl's base - made of pure Jingdezhen porcelain and coloured with natural mineral colorants - creates the vortex. When the glass carafe (hand-blown grade-A tempered borosilicate glass) is placed on, a solid-state load cell senses its presence to start the motion automatically. In turn, it calibrates the speed of the aerator disc (AKA the Impeller) according to the amount of water in the carafe, creating a constant perfect vortex. 💧 There are other features that don't exist on simple magnetic stirrer, like a rechargeable battery which are able to work up to 6 hours without the need for electricity and more.

I really do love this idea But the price point is insane I can buy a glass vessel and a magnetic stirrer for a fraction of the cost and hook it to a battery bank The one thing I like about your model is the Cordless feature might allow me to put in the fridge to get cold Not sure what that would do go the battery life See I have a paralyzed vocal cord abd can only drink thin liquids if extremely cold Otherwise I choke so I know I don't drink nearly enough water Maybe this would help me get in habit of drinking water more regularly again Buy I could never afford this on my budget
