Pride is a hard one to mortify. At some point I finally recognized (with the help of a Pastor/Friend) that it's at the core of all my sin. None of us have it all figured out, but sometimes we kind of think we do. That's when Christ's preaching to the self righteous Pharisees is hard to listen to. This is what I think of as a real vid from a real dude. Transparency is a beautiful thing! Keep it up man.

STG's Half and Half was one I couldn't stand for a while. I was used to 90's/2000's Half and Half. Once it got a year or so of age on it I started to like it.

C & D Corncob Pipe and A Button Nose, was one were I went from disappointed to quite happy with just a few months of age in the jar

I’ve noticed that most blends straight out of the tin aren’t at their best. I’ll smoke a new blend straight out of the tin to get the feel for it. Then I’ll jar it and come back to it a month, or more, later. Not sure of the science behind it, but it’s definitely a thing for me. Cheers!

Everything by c&d isnt good from a fresh tin. 2 weeks in a jar improves them drastically

Chelsea Morning by G.L. Pease for me, not sure if it got better with a few months of age, or I started to appreciate it more as time went on and I came back to it. Could be both.

P.S. Blend by The Country Squire here, sometimes it might be a little sweet, so I'll choose Pilgrim's Muse from The Country Squire instead.

Smoking Big N Burley every day for the past year! I’m getting into a blend I made called “Tearjerker” (Dark Burley and Dark Fired Kentucky)

I switch it up a lot. I was smoking Amphora Kentucky every day, but it's going away so I conserve what I have.

Go to usual Country Squire Cowboy Coffee. But I have step out of my comfort zone and tried EMP! This might become my new everyday smoke. I tried it when I first started and toss it to the side. Maybe a cellaring for a time or my palate’s changed. But WOW!😊 Still haven’t tried the old trusted half & half or Carter Hall.

Lately it’s been Luxury Bullseye Flake with about 6 years of age. It’s kind of strange to smoke it this time of year. I usually go for Latakia and Burley when it gets cold. Cheers!

Cowboy Coffee. Love the DFK and Virginia combination. Not a daily smoke, but I usually have 3-4 bowls a week of this blend, and usually smoke ~10 bowls a week.
