Man, I really enjoyed this. You're a really great drummer. I like how calm and laid back you are and still hitting with perfection. I had a black 5 piece Tama kit with 4 Tama Octobans. I copied Copeland's kit after getting the details of his set up in Modern Drummer Magazine back then. I did sell everything but held onto my cymbals. Again, great job!

Excellent playing, especially after the 3rd minute. Stewart Copeland's style is very dynamic. Don't be afraid to hit the drums a bit harder, but please always protect your ears (Stewart has hearing loss and tinnitus because he didn't).

@@ethan_the_drummer i was taught a few rudiments when i was 10. i did the Alan Dawson ritual and some vocabulary, only for two weeks. didn't touch a drum set for 30 years after that. fred was the song i asked one of my teachers to play for me before i left. i cried for weeks after that, mom couldn't afford drum lessons. plus we're Muslims. I'm 42 now and i'm working on that song. but i don't know tony like that. i'm discovering. what o0ther song should i watch from tony?
@@user820109 I too do the rudiments ritual. It’s great for getting the rudiments in your hands. Glad to hear you are getting back into drumming. I have enjoyed all of Tony’s music but here are a few of my favorites. Proto-Cosmos, Mr. Spock, Sister Cheryl, Geo Rose and many others.
