    Tuturuuu that was excellent, i was torn between buying the slightly more expensive "Ugreen 2.5 Inch Hard Drive Enclosure External 6Gbps USB C SSD Caddy" and the other version "Ugreen 2.5 Inch Hard Drive Enclosure SA-TA HDD Caddy Hard Disk Case" which has the traditional USB 3.O cable. I wonder if there's a difference in read and write speeds.

    Does it really support 5tb ? I know there is no 6tb laptop drive and even with 5tb you will need to remove the top cover.

    Why does it say 6TB? I’m planning to use it with the SAMSUNG 8TB and I am not sure if it will work or not! I see this as an adaptor and a housing for the SSD; not sure what it the limiting factor that makes it good for only 6TB!

      In the Q&A area in the Amazon page, somebody asked about using an 8TB drive as well. The answer was: "If the thickness is within 9.5mm, and the rated power is within 900mA when you connect the enclosure to a usb 3.0 port, then this hard drive enclosure is compatible with that."
