This is exactly how theologians confuse the bible. Romans 14 tells us the kingdom God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. Jesus talked about the kingdom of God more than any other topic

Jesus commendth His Love toward us while we were yet sinners. He Loved us when we were without hope. Hopeless, and somehow He saved us ❤

No, "our Father" means that Jesus, like each one of us, is God's son and that they are two distinct and separate individuals, not two in one. Jesus is God's perfect son, his firstborn in the Spirit and in the flesh and our eldest brother. J Jesus is the one God our Father chose from the beginning of time to be His mouthpiece and our teacher, to be the one who reconciles us with Him by satisfying justice with his blood and thus unbinding us from sin. Jesus is the exalted son of God who seats at his right hand and with Him co-governs the universe. Jesus testifies of the Father, and the Holy Spirit testifies of the Father and the Son; all three of them are God. God is a title not a name; Godhood is the exhaled state of a man.

From our reading of the Scriptures, Jesus (1) is not just like each one of us, nor (2) will we become like Gods. If Jesus was just like one of us, He could not have (1) fulfilled God's law perfectly since He would have remained in sin, and (2) could not have gone to the cross on our behalf because He would have needed to have someone pay for His sins as well, since he was just a man like us. If Jesus is just a teacher, then He not enough to be a Savior. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). So rather than us attain godhood (which the Bible never says) and that Jesus was only just like us (which the Bible never says), we gladly rejoice that Jesus is truly God, truly man who came to provide substitutionary atonement on our behalf. We can't--He did. Praise God!

@@arapahoeroad You have eyes but you don't see, have years but don't hear. I never said Jesus was like us in perfection, no I said Jesus is one of God's children, just like each one of us, except he was perfect from the beginning of time and was given authority by the Father to be creator of worlds and the redeemer of our world. Jesus said that he came to do his Father's will and that God was greater than him. Before ascending to heaven He also said that he was returning to "my God and your God, to my Father and your Father," the Bible cannot be more clear than this. I also never said we can atone for our won sins, I said the opposite; that Christ came to atone for us, because he is the perfect lamb. But all that does not deny he is the son of God, exalted by the Father to be at his right hand, Christ is not the Father and the Son, they are two distinct and separated individuals with perfected, immortal, celestial bodies.

John 4:23-24. He said, But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.

1 John 2:27 American Standard Version (ASV) And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him

I was out of church from 2008 to 2022. Worst time of my life. My whole life blew up during COVID. Now I can’t imagine not serving the body of Christ and being among believers. You can’t out give God. We owe him everything. Yet he graciously rewards our obedience to him with blessings that are so much better than anything the world has to offer.

Amen for a couple years I was really feeling the same way. I somehow got it in my head that I could worship God and not have to be at church, but the Holy Spirit convicted me heavily and said you need fellowship and I could feel that I did so I encourage people please find a good church and fellowship worship together. It really does change the spiritual atmosphere, and your heartdoes so many wonderful things
