Sorry for a late response. Yes, we can access to all three lounges. After checking in at the Cathay Pacific Airline counter at the airport, we were given a boarding pass together with a lounge invitation pass to enjoy the three lounges.

Both fillet and lobster pasta, grilled skirt steak and short rib pasta were my favourite entrees. My husband ordered the steak and I ordered fillet, then we shared all those dishes.

When we booked the dinner buffet, it was HK$1,028 plus 10% service charge per adult. The date we went, it was increased to $1,078 plus 10% service charge. Finally, the bill charged us $1,028 plus 10% service charge as per our booking price.

We were there before 12 noon, no need to wait.

It was a bit more than HK$800 plus 10% service charge per person for Sunday dinner buffet. As I am Shangri-La Circle member, I got 25% off that price. Better check Big Bay Cafe's website for the latest price and the theme of food for its buffet offers which may be different each month.

Nope it isn't over hyped, it's texture is wonderful, as for the taste, like many food, it depends on the sauce or gravy. Try eating chicken or steak without any salt.

At the day I went, there was no trolley for chocolates. We were only given a plate of 3 pieces of different chocolates. I was quite disappointed.

Maybe it is because I tried to avoid crowds, my video was filmed during non-busy hours and when people went for excursions. Actually, this ship is not a family-typed ship, I don't find crowed with people even in peak hours although the ship is full.

Never size, always passenger space ratio. But some areas can crowd depending on the size of the ship. On this ship the Martini Bar can get crowded, for instance.

If you like whale watching and wildlife adventure, experience up-close observation of the Hubbard Glacier, it worths to join excursions. Otherwise, you can just walk around the towns of Juneau, Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point. As you see from my video, there is a free green gondola at the pier of Icy Strait Point taking you to the town. In addition, if you don't mind spending money and motion sickness, seaplane tour and helicopter excursions are good picks too. Have a wonderful cruise in September!

I would highly highly recommend the crab fish experience on the Aleutian Ballad that was highlight of the trip for us

It was $45.95 per adult in August 2022. Angus Glen is offering Christmas brunch buffet at $65 per adult on December 11 & 18. You may wish to visit their website for the menu and reserve a table in advance before it is sold out.

The meal was paid by my friend, I didn’t pay anything. We ordered a set dinner with two extra dishes of crispy boneless duck and stir fried tung choi. The set dinner itself was less than $300. I didn’t know the price of the other 2 dishes. For your information, the restaurant had a different set dinner menu at a different price each day.

If you buy either basic or premium drink package for your cruise, you don't need to pay any wine fee at specialty restaurants and anywhere onboard the ship. If you don't plan to buy drink package, alcohol beverage fee depends on which kind and brand. Basic alcohol drink was $9 plus gratuity per glass and premium alcohol drink was $15 per glass. Thank you for watching. It was a 7 night Alaska Hubbard Glacier Cruise departure from Vancouver. Day 2 inside passage (cruising), Day 3 Icy Strait Point, Day 4 Hubbard Glacier (cruising), Day 5 Juneau, Day 6 Ketchikan, Day 7 inside passage (cruising), Day 8 morning Arrival Vancouver. If you choose "My Time" dining, highly recommend that you immediately reserve online a table for 8 for your desired time for each night after your cruise is booked. Especially if you plan to dine at any specialty restaurants, don't wait until you are onboard the ship because those specialty restaurants are very fast fully booked. Hope this information is helpful to you.

I didn't remember the exact time. It was either 5 pm to 7 pm or 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. When we checked in at the hotel reception, we were informed of the exact time for the evening.

Presentation is good but why the heavy sauces & emphasis on frying? Unnecessary additives to food better unadulterated.

Yes, ice cream/gelato are complimentary except the gelato at Cafe al Bacio & Gelateria on Deck 5. Some flavors are different every day. You can eat as many scoops as you like.

Hi Dbaby, 3 pound bucket is more than enough for two of us. The king crab legs were very meaty. We were full without eating the dinner rolls. We did not eat breakfast before eating king crab legs and did not eat lunch afterwards. However, if you are big eater, sure no harm to try 4 pounds. Bear in mind that any remaining crab legs are not allowed to bring onboard the ship.
