Is This the BEST Regional Train in Europe? Taking Trenitalia from Pisa to Florence
Amtrak has long been derided for being late, getting delayed, and having a lack of modernity and speed. Trenitalia, the Italian train operator, couldn't be further from Amtrak. This short 45 minute ride from Pisa to Florence, was fast, the train was modern and fast, and it was cheap as well, with my ticket only costing about $5.

Low-cost airlines are infamous for charging for everything from seat selection to food to bags, and for having uncomfortable seats with barely any legroom. I recently flew Southwest from Baltimore to Manchester, NH, and really enjoyed my flight. True. Smaller ones are generally nicer, though there are some nice big airports.
