We did separate into groups but people got a little lost towards the end it was never our intention to be in one big group this was our first one and we are working on improving so this doesn’t happen again we are also working with some local authorities that are helping us to move forward and improve for the next one

@@bbradventures6676 glad to hear it. Restricting numbers of people before the event also helps. I have run many trips around Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and West Yorkshire and the largest group I will ever take is 6 outside of a national park and 4 with in. You do get some people who are disappointed if they can’t come, but it’s better some people are disappointed than a lane be closed.

Yeah definitely are next event we are having 3 people total to recon the route and then on the day we are going to be putting people in to groups of 5 and a team member in each group to stop a build up

@UC45qpwZYjLVO6JX2mkp3WvA Proper organisation always helps. A winch is not essential, never needed to use one myself, but every vehicle should have a good quality towing strap and D shackles, not to mention a shovel.

@@bbradventures6676 sounds like a plan. But each group needs comms, so that you can avoid meeting. I’d suggest you recommend each member of the outing get a CB.
