Carnival of Lights sounds a lot like the trans and electronic music from the 90s, madchester and so on, maybe they took from here, but also Revolution number 9 was John and Yoko taking from McCartney daring to do something like this, cause of course the avant garde people were doing stuff like this but McCartney was the first one, McCartney invented Trent Reznor lol

I got the director's cut Anthology dvd set years ago. It's got a lot more interview segments and a few more topics are covered. The weird thing is that it ends with the Get Back/Let It Be sessions. The whole last year, including Abbey Road, is missing.

Well, I suffer three times for this. First, for having developed projects on behalf of small labels that released limited editions of "you know who" in Japan and the USA. Second, for working professionally for the record label that holds the rights and having learned how to take care of the details in a music release. And finally, for appreciating not only the design but also the collection of outtakes that cannot, under any circumstances, be treated so clumsily and mediocrity, with basic design errors - like the unbelievable TWO DISCS -2 in a compilation of 4 CDs that ends with the number 3. Just because it’s not official doesn’t mean it has to be poorly done.

I have most of this I recorded on the air when Elliot Mintz did the radio show back in the 1980s. On cassette tapes. Good Stuff.

Listen folks.... in this ever changing planet, there will ALWAYS be people who will embrace and consume "stuff" that virtually everyone else thinks of as pure garbage.

This is a wonderful set of BBC recordings and interesting interviews. Originally broadcast as a radio special back in the early 80s, a talented Beatles fan and collector has taken a pristine copy of the original broadcast and upgraded the show with significantly better sounding recording discovered after it was first heard. A truly great and entertaining set.

And many young people like your father went and did not return. He is his Beatles group and many others seek to make songs that spread Love is Peace. And years later many young people made appeals to end this war
