I like listening to you stories while passing time at work. I’m 10 days off Kratom from a 18 month addiction. Took it to get off my 18 year Adderall and Vyvanse cycle, prescribed to me as a child by my doctor. Thinking back… that was fucked up. Adderall and Vyvanse withdrawal is fatigue, depression and misery for 2 years. I tried to kill myself. Kratom saved me. Now it’s time to heal from kratom. Thanks for everything Brandon, you give me peace.

Great video. I must add tho, that for me and many others, quitting coffee and caffeine was imperative to stay off kratom and other stuff. Caffeine ruins your sleep (especially in kratom withdrawal when sleep is everything.) And caffeine significantly elevates stress hormones and lowers dopamine and serotonin, which always led me back to kratom sooner or later.

I’m not sure why but I’ve been able to sleep 4-6 hours from day 4 until day 9. I was taking the 7 hydros two in the evening and about 35 gpd kratom mixed with extract powder. I took about 15 different vitamins in the day time and made sure I stayed super hydrated. Day 1-3 I forced my self to hike3 different mountains in order to keep my mind busy. I’m not sure if it might be the cbn and cbd I would take before bed but definitely could be.

about 3 years ago i went into phychosis from xannax withdrawals so my parents/ gf sent me to rehab, i went for 2 nights and realized the only way i could get off of it was to be around people who care about me so i tried to tell them i wanted to leave and they told me i cant so i said can i at least call my gf and told her to pick me up long story short they called the fire department on me and they said they cant hold me there illegally so they let me leave and that’s how i know rehab is a fucking scam

I believe you, my partner has adhd and can go a solid month without sleep! Some would say wow that’s amazing, but it’s not pretty at all. It’s actually completely destroying and affects every part of his life negatively. He sometimes smokes cannabis in the hope to calm his racing mind because he too says that he has to shut off his mind before he can fall asleep. Doctors do not understand at all. Being extremely sleep deprived then causes depression. Unlike you, he has been telling me that he can lucid dream since we were 16 yo, although he didn’t know the word for it back then. I’m definitely going to recommend that he try this. Thanks for the review! ❤

Gabapentin don't work unless you stagger it and take HUGE doses of it. Gabapentin is one of them things where you are either in or out. If you want to have it actually help during withdrawal you are going to get addicted to it and become dependent. Just fucking do it and taper the gab later. The difference between gab and opiate withdrawal isn't even close when you taper it. Water is KING drink a whole bottle of water every time you piss. Keep that piss clear if you are pissing and its dark orange you are really hurting yourself BAD. DONT get up if you cant sleep. Just keep trying eventually your brain will shut off and you will get small bursts of sleep no matter how bad the RLS is. If you get up you will never sleep. Supplements don't help at all. It's all bullshit. Unless you are deficient in something. Don't fuck with benzo's its not worth a bigger hell you will put yourself in. Abusing gab for a couple weeks isn't that bad just do it get so fucked up you can even stand before bed and you will sleep which will help, its the only thing that helps. If you don't sleep you wont heal. Sleep is KING and it's the only pathway out. It is the thing that determines how long you will withdrawal. Last thing is fucking taper. Just taper going cold turkey is hell the small amount of pain you put yourself in for a couple weeks while tapering literally takes it off the top of when you jump off. If you don't taper all that pain will just be condensed and hit you like freight train. TAPER for gods sake.

That Vitamin C helped a lot. Still a long road ahead of me but it’s good to have something like that. The mental symptoms still there sure, but I’ll definitely take that since I’m just starting this journey again for the 2nd time. Last time went completely cold turkey and ended up in a detox hospital. The withdrawals were so bad I had a psychotic break and needed to be restrained. Shits no joke. Anyone who can do this just sitting in their house I have major respect for.

Tapering off of kratom as we speak down from 5 pills a day to 2. Loosing sleep is the hardest. Restless legs and such. I used to do speed and smoke blues. But kratom is so accessible and I don't feel like it's going to kill me which makes it harder to quit. The kratom I was doing was as strong as blues. 2 days left of tapering than I done
