Tank Setup: Mexican Red Rump Tarantula
I'm setting up a tank for my new tarantula!
The lighting in this video is bad, and I debated whether to even publish it. But overall, it's just been about getting the experience with editing, etc. so I decided to post it so that people can give feedback on what works and what doesn't.

A Day in the Life of a Crested Gecko (Timelapse)
Переглядів 2284 роки тому
Crested geckos are cute, fascinating creatures. But they are crepuscular (most active at dawn and dusk), so just what is it they do all day?
Named my female (majestic) she has a 40 gallant tank and explores all of it:)
This enclosure is to big just a tip
Not recommended to use such a large enclosure for a spiderling as you will almost never see it again once it hides, also worth noting a dryer substrate is needed than what you had there as if its too moist the humidity flies off the scale being over 90 and takes a good while to die back down but otherwise not a bad setup oh and for anyone else reading for terrestrial tarantulas its always best to go with a short enclosure but keep it long and wide as the spider may climb and you don’t want it getting hurt because it could rupture its abdomen if it falls so make sure to have just more than half of enclosure filled with semi moist substrate for best results 😊
I agree! 👍 I loved the editing and style of this video, but some things could've been done better.
Good luck finding the spider in that big ass enclosure 😂
I have the first tank but we have him/ her in a smaller plastic tub so not sure if I should take them out of that we have her/him two years now.we forgot to ask them there gender.i feed them 2 crickets once a week is this enough.as we are new to this its my sons spider.and is it good to hold them ? Love this video I also have the heat mat on the side as they are high up and can get heat from it
Noice video man! I like the background btw.
Thank you!
I cant tell if this is a joke or just telling people they dont move lmao
Lol it’s both. It’s just a still photo I took of an empty tank before putting a crestie in it.

Do you have a referral code with The Bio Dude?
I don’t, sorry! It wasn’t a paid promotion, it’s just the substrate I recommend. So nothing :(
Very cool! I'm just about to rehouse mine. Her/his name is Gothic (Gothie) because I love the red and black coloring.
This is stoopidt. It’s a ball python not a crested gekoo
Don't know where u see a ball python.
Right behind the crested gecko at 1:42
🙄🤣
