The Original twisters formed in 1977 and broke up in late 1979. They becane very popular in L.A. doing classic rock dance Music. this band also had good Original rock that they played in Hollywood clubs like the Troubadour,Starwood.etc. This band started the L.A. Twisters craze that followed.
