iRacing Offroad Series - Pro 2 Lite at Wild West
8 lap official iRacing hosted main event at Wild West in the Lucas Oil Offroad Series Pro 2 Lite division. This is an open set-up race and the boys at Mid-West Customs had this truck on rails this event. Was fastest in practice, qualifying, and during the race. 2nd place truck tried to pit maneuver me in turn 2, and failed drastically spinning himself out instead, from there this set-up from Mid-West Customs was able to let me pull away from the carnage behind me and eventually coast to an over 18 second lead by the end of the event.
This was something entirely new for me, never tried my hands at offroad racing before, and the boys at the shop haven't dabbled much with setting these trucks up before, but all in all I can see our team running more of these events and possible moving onto the Pro 2 and Pro 4 trucks in the future.

30 Lap A-main starting on the outside pole, leader tried to start on the back stretch and catch the field napping, but was unsuccessful. Cruised to an easy victory as the track came in perfect for the car thanks to another awesome set-up from the guys.

Jon, questions for you? I'm currently running GT7 and running at the the top split A+ level, respected and competitive. However, I have wanted to move over to I - racing mainly and get into dirt racing. I'm running currently with the Logic Pro direct drive and pro pedals. How do they fare with "the world of Outlaws". I also have a G923 with moded pedals (tru-brake v2 mod) also. I would say im in the serious category and spend about a thousand hours per year refining and improving. Would you recomment WofO or just go straight to I-racing?

How do you get your p1 controls to be steering wheel instead of controller
Don't turn your controller on at all. Then the only thing listed should be P1 controls. I turn my console on with the TV, let it boot then log in off the wheel and launch game from wheel, controller never turns on

Hey bud could you help me with setups for the world of outlaw
I’d like to know what curse you were able to put on Dennis Erb for him to finish 21st. I’ve ran 12 WoO Super Late Model races in my own “custom championship” series and Dennis Erb has 11 Top 5’s and and 12 To 10’s. The one race he finished outside the top 5 in, he finished 6th. lol.
Not entirely sure, but I think one of the cautions was for another AI sending him into the inside tires.
@@joncoble920 loving your setup for the car, just wish I could qualify a little better.
@@virtualdirtnetwork the key is proper braking into the corner and smooth on and off throttle for corner entry and exit. Fairbury is my home track and I've ran laps on it in real life, while not in a super, I've done street stock and sportsman, but it's definitely like that in real life.
@@joncoble920 Fairbury is definitely on my bucket list. My home track is Brownstown (IN).
@@virtualdirtnetwork one thing too is I have load cell pedals so my brake is probably stiffer then yours, maybe lower the front brake strength. I don't smash the brake, but at about 25% down I get resistance on my pedals. Maybe try lowering the front brake some, maybe your locking up and loosing speed.
