Duets need to have balanced voices especially in quality. The soprano here is much more talented and is holding back to compensate for the weaker performer.

Wonderful choir and orchestra, however the voice of the countertenor is too thin and squeaky

So stunning! One feels they are there! So happy to subscribe to these concerts. There is nothing that matches such an experience as listening to glorious music in such spaces. Eveything becomes a three-dimensional, emotional experience. The great abbeys and cathedrals create not only space for the music, singers, and instrumentalists to soar, but it also has an unmatched intimacy of attention. I hope I can experience it in person one day. Thank you to all who bring such beauty to us.
