I really enjoyed the video for many reasons, seeing a city I visited years ago with fresh eyes, the really creative production values of the video with great editing and shooing angles, and steadiness of framing while hand held. Additionally your bright enthusiastic personality enhanced the subject of the video and the city itself combined to result is a stylish fun video with a lovely young woman as the star! I have been to Omsk years ago when I spent much more time exploring Russia by train, air and bus but now spend almost all my time in St Petersburg, a city I moved to 24 years ago from California, near San Francisco. I visited the main cities of Siberia in summer and winter. One of those visits was just after New Years when a dentist and his family invited me to come for New Years after "meeting" by email months before. When arriving it was announced that the air port temperature was -50C. I had warm clothes but it was still shocking to go from the warm plane to the stairs of the ramp that had 3cm thick ice that was clear and looked as if lit up. The couple and two children met me at the terminal and had brought an extra coat. The next morning the husband planned a driving sight seeing trip arund the city at -52c. The city was coated with clear sparking ice that coated everything as if an ice sculpture. That was, I was told, a record and due to wind days before all surfaces had a polished glass appearance and I was told they never saw that way and it was likely due to wind driven rain earlier in the week. I had been in cold weather before but that combination of cold, wind and rain just days before really did look as if the city, every surface, wire, tree and surface had 1-2 cm of sparkling smooth ice. They has a 4 wheel drive truck for winter transportation and before setting off on the trip my host showed me how they prepared the truck for extreme cold. He poured a liter of kerosene under the truck and through a lit match so flames created black soot on the sides of the truck. He explained that with that low of cold driving makes the springs brittle and could break if not warmed up and while driving the compression and expansion of the springs when driving would warm themselves and we would need to keep moving because if sitting still for more than a few minutes could result in broken springs. It made sense and the trip was continuous and nothing broke. The most vivid memory however was how every surface had this sparkling shining smooth coating of ice and looked identical to an ice sculpture. Over the next few days the temperatures rose to -35 and the ice lost that crystalline shiny clear appearance and just looked like normal ice. The husband explained that that was the only second time he has seen it that was, back with he was 10 years old. Regardless of the cold, inside, the family had a great winter warm happy holiday with great food, decorations and a lovely time. We were located several km from the populated areas of apartment buildings so it was a little colder than in the city....fond memories of the best New Years with the warmest hearts and friendship between strangers just days before. There are a thousand reasons I LOVE Russia but most of the reasons relate to the people and relationships formed. I live in the heart of a beautiful historic city and despite being large and many strangers are seen daily, i have never gone over a few days without by chance, meeting a new friend. It is a large city of 5.5 million people but feels like a safe cozy village where everyone gets along. If some one does not love Russia/Russians they have no heart.
But all the 'dissident' vloggers tell me that outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg there is nothing but dirt roads, ramshackle villages and houses with no indoor plumbing.

Why outside Moscow? Life in Moscow and St. Petersburg is poor enough, propaganda videos shows just a few skyscrapers and the metro.

You can pretend; depending on who you're talking to, or trying to fool. Lol
what do you mean by "pretend to be an architect"? :)
@@liza.somova It's a Seinfeld reference. One of the characters, George, has to invent a fake job as a cover story and he always wanted to pretend to be an architect.
I am not really an expert on architecture, but I find russian/soviet architectural choices very good. One thing I particularly enjoy is how the public spaces are designed to be wide for people and make it easy to see the horizon. By the way, I love Russia and will visit it when I become more fluent in the language.

As a native of Fürth, I find your video an insult. 99% of your video was shot in the city of Fürth. You're selling it as Nuremberg. Nuremberg is Fürth's neighbouring city. The two cities have a very long rivalry. Why are you talking rubbish here? Fürth is a very nice city with 135,000 inhabitants. But it has nothing to do with the neighbouring city. So I'm asking you to rename the title of your video. It was filmed in the city of FÜRTH. And you also lived in Fürth. So please change the name
