Hello, please see my Grandma's house now unnocuppied at 800 Douglas Avenue, Fort St. James BC, V0J1P0. Originally built by Indigenous Catholic Missionaries of Nak'azdli First Nation next to Stuart Lake prior to the establishment of their Historic Church. The Structure was procured by my Grandfather John Rivard after WW2 and transported by horsback to its current location for redevelopment at the Family Homestead which is now in present day Fort St. James BC. Although it remains with the family and is unnoccupied due to it's condition, we would like to have it returned to the First Nation for repatriation at it's orginal site next to the historic church. I would like to build a replica of the home on the family property after it's removal as the home is dear to my heart. Please feel welcome to google map the home and visit the property with my permission.
