Holli and Max first met each other in April of 2021 when they were matched as a Buddy Pair in the Best Buddies Minnesota Citizens program. Their friendship is a simple, yet profound example of the positive impact that having someone in your corner, a friend, can have in your life.
Best Buddies Citizens builds one-to-one friendships between adults with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the community, which helps people with IDD become part of mainstream society and creates an inclusive and diverse community for all.
