Idk how many people think about it, but highlights like these make every single comeback and walkoff feel as important and emotional as Gm 3 of the Nlwcs. If they lost any other single game of the season, none of the rest would have happened.

The Mets are going to lose a lot of fans if they don’t sign this man It’s bad enough they bring in Soto, which nobody wanted that Eric and SOB, But it’s a sin, the kind of money the Mets owner paid. There is no way in God’s creation that Soto is worth half of that amount of money, not even a half! It’s not good enough to the Mets organization they got Pete for peanuts all the time for next to nothing. The guy is a diehard Met. He’s about to break all kinds of records. He doesn’t wanna go anywhere the Mets fans don’t want him to go anywhere for God sake sign the man give a decent contract.
