You can’t run into the ice shards, they insta kill you, other than that I’m not sure what it could be

He does a random Arcane barrage cast that indicates him teleporting

@@GreowulfsHD I just realized that. And managed to get there before I died and now the second Arcane Phase. Do You know somehow where is he teleporting or it is just random and you are looking for those little shining stars?

You can see him on the minimap as a yellow dot, start dashing in that direction and then when you're close it's the obvious sparkle storm

First and foremost the build I use helps a ton with self healing, you can find that in the description, other than that don’t bother interrupting while in demon form unless the next hit would kill you before you can heal up. Other than that you can use your 2 stuns and cage to interrupt while you are not in demon form, just make sure you always have one available for when he draws power from the core in the middle. Looking for frags definitely helps but don’t bother going across the map for it. Someone suggested running high haste and crit helps with selfhealing as you will get your meta and offensive cooldowns back faster.

I personally don’t have a lariat on this but yeah tier does seem to work.I haven’t done any other mage towers but this one was extremely tight on dps and I got stuck in last phase missing 5-10% dps a dozen of times which was really frustrating, very glad I got it done in the end.

@@GreowulfsHD Yeah before they took Mage Tower away in Shadowlands, I tried this challenge on Havoc, Surv, Frost DK, Arms, Sub Rogue. I mainly play Veng DH but my dps go to was Havoc. I couldn't beat the challenge on havoc for a while. So i tried on Frost DK and beat that in 7 tries. Was just so much easier. Then I tried it on Surv Hunter and that was so easy thanks to Pet cheese. Arms Warrior was tricky to break out of the crystals if you didn't have leap. Sub Rogue could easily shadowstep out of hte crystals which was nice. But the Dude enraging for the last 10% on the final phase only against Sub Rogue was a slap in the face. For whatever reason I think tuning wise in SL and looks to be in DF is super high for Havoc.

Yeah I read somewhere this fight was scaled to 136 on PTR and had the same health values as it does on live now while scaled to 120 ilvl, I think something went wrong.

I haven’t done the druid one, is it easier? This one is extremely tight on dps compared to what it was in legion.

@@GreowulfsHD i did druid in 1 min 54, it's a lot lot easier, i don't even pass p1 on dh xD

Yeah it's tough, I'd been having the same issue, but the other builds never got me there, I had to literally save up all my cooldowns and line them up so I'd have them for the beginning of the last phase

@@GreowulfsHD So you pop everything in the beginning of last phase? like when the big monsters just come out?

Yeah I lust and pot and meta at the beginning when the big guy phase starts and I make sure the hunt is up as well, you can afford to eye beam once between every seed with this build, don’t eyebeam a second time cause you’ll need it to kill the 3 mobs that spawn from the seed. Meta comes back just before the end if you do this.

I definitely had to use a pot and drums and save/line up all my offensive cooldowns to beat the dps check on the last phase. But yeah my shopping list was Phial of Elemental chaos, Elemental potion of power, I ate Filet of Fangs (crit food), Feral hide drums and I had the health pots which did help me out every other pull. Oh, and Buzzing runes.

I usually check the minimap when he teleports and can’t find him right away, it puts a yellow dot on there, and then spot the sparkles once I’m in the right direction.
