"oh never mind" :D
i play by ear
Ahh, old fellow Read Dorm inhabitant Ryan Brown getting near the hometown of the Courtney brothers in the year of 2016 and he's playing the hits we heard on the radio in the car while driving to the various skating rinks!
What song of Porter's used the Three Legged Dog lick?
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
when you primed the shell, are you using a matte or semi gloss paint? i'm thinking of using a black base and neon paints....
I think this one was matte white
@saydlowski great thank you so much! What brand ink did you use? I'm looking at cpl different brands and didn't catch what you used. I know that clear coat will help certain brands pop more too.
@@jonathanrenner277 Tim Holtz ink
Great version! I got to play in a band with T.K. in the late 70s, called T.K. and Company!
Vinny's remo pinstripes & the walrus. Yellow gretsch kit. Sounded awesome, Sounded better than his next kit, which he used on that 1980 tour which was a double bass sonor drum set and he hasn't used double bass since then. It looked like something that tommy aldridge would play.
John's smother's frank's bodyguard
This was that festival in germini had MahaVishna orchestra zappa and some other bands I believe frank was the headliner...... This is when frank had two bass players for a short time.
What an absolute gem this is thank you
I was there, lol. We were stationed in Augsburg and came for Zappa but rocked out to Alvin Lee. Left when Genesis took the stage. Poor Joan got pelted with beer cans but eventually brought the crowd around.
Larry was a fantastic drummer. Raised on Radio by Journey is a masterpiece RIP
This guy is hilarious. And of course a legendary drummer.
At the age of 5, after my mom told me that my Dad was the best drummer she had ever heard in Europe , I wanted to be just as good. At age 7, she bought me a Jr. Set and I listened to none other than Larrie London on countless hits. He was my inspiration. Along with Gene Krupa and Karen Carpenter. In 72 we went back to Germany and I heard Levon Helm . I didn't meet my father until 1997. 10 years after my mom was murdered. I was playing with a group and he came. After the 1st set , he told me that I was a better drummer than he was. I was self taught . I never really learned to read fast enough to perform it off paper . I did take some drumming in school however , I was already playing clubs and my teacher didn't like the fact that I was learning it " all wrong " . He had played with Harry James and Stan Getz . I loved the Big Bands because this is what my father played along with polkas and such . My parents were from Hungary and I was born in Germany. It wasn't all wrong , I learned from the heart, God gave me my talent . Today I'm still not as good as many out there however I love what I do and the fellowship of making music is Family . God Blessed Larrie London, and he blessed me . In all honesty , keep playing , make music and love others . Thanks for reading . God Bless You All. Sincerely Ben*Ben Adler

This was calming to watch, nice job!
Thankyou sir! Do you seal it with a top coat or leave it as is? Very creative and cool work.
I usually seal with Krylon Kamar spray and maybe a clear coat on top of that after the Kamar finish dries
Bob! AWESOME Video, and you Sir are a PLEASURE to listen to, thank you for the cool idea.......just did a new paint and light thing on my kit.....but maybe the alchohol ink on a drum shell you do such a cool job of showing and talking about, it sounds like it would be a nice chill night inking some drums up! Cheers Drum Brother, Subscribed!
This is awesome stuff! Never knew Porter had some Roger Miller in him hahaha
i love LaRRY . HECK YA. the best feel ever om 3 legged dog hump. master here. take notes.
I worked with Larrie - Fantastic drummer and a beautiful person!
Larrie did a great job for the Everly Brothers in the 80´s, he´s awesome!
That drummer is fabulous!
have been 10 metres in front of scene -super-jack
Wauw!!! What a great version with a lot of diversity and typical 80's Zappaband interlude sounds. I'm compiling a alternative Freak Out album, and this is what I exactly look for. Thanks for uploading!!!
R you think Vinny was nervous
not bad for crappy panasonic cam
Briefly took lessons from him in Houston back in the mid-80's...one of the nicest guys you could ever meet and one hell of a drummer. Also saw a few clinics he did in the Houston area during that time frame. Just an all-around awesome person.
Legend
🤩👍👍👍i was there, sooo good 👏👏👏great memorys 🤩
this is a really awesome technique, looks great!
Excellent. Thanks.
Was there. Vince stood out.
Great job covering a tough song!
great job, all the right parts, and with exceptional groove, sub earned
You're not a bad drummer, but this isn't The Beatles, and it's not the correct drum track...
Ok I need to see this band. Who the fuck are these guys!
English Channel. Richmond VA band. They're still around, but different members now since I was in it.
Kid looks good, is he famous? :p
Horrid sound!
nice!
Thank you, for posting these sessions with Mr. Larry Londin. I am not a musician. Simply a lover of History, Music, Musicianship of all genres, etc. Best wishes for every future success.
Jesus Christ, a piece of music history and only 32k views. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish get billions of views!
I got to sit behind him in Woodland Sound Studios when I was 11 years old . My best friends dad was a Sound engineer there. Larrie let us sit in the studio and watch him lay down drum tracks. Ill always remember how good he was to us as kids. I also took lessons at his drum shop..DOG Percussion. The good ole days
My all time favorite drummer! I loved his drumming on Raised On Radio RIP
Holy Moly, they were on fire ... (not coke or ice!!!) .... keep it greasy....
Read about the band leaving reason been they were no longer impressed they'd been with Elvis for so long they wanted to do other things
I’m so glad I found this video .... what an absolute legend he was!
tyat must be to douing
I played in a country band in the early 90's and our drummer was a UNT student and was at the drum clinic Larry was giving when he passed away. He was and still is a Legend!
