HI
Bri, you did a fantastic job on this video! Absolutely fantastic!!! Don’t know if it’s going to work as iMovie is loading on my iMac, but you did an outstanding job nonetheless!!!❤
Thanks so much @Garymo2u. Hope it worked for you!
The book contains practical, easy to use worksheets and surveys which helped me within a matter of minutes. Such a great read for folks with competing commitments.
Yes, it’s a very thorough resource!
This video is a goldmine for marketers! Bri Williams really breaks down the psychology behind "new" and how it impacts consumer choices. Can't wait to apply these insights to my business strategy. Great video!
Thanks @hellraizer322
Another excellent video Bri, thank you for sharing
Thanks @Cherrie549
When Bri posts, I first like, then watch
Very flattered @cherie549. Thanks for your support 🙏
Thanks ❤❤❤❤
Omg you're amazing! It worked. thank you for this video!!
So glad it worked for you 😊
Very good, Bri. Enjoyed this.
Thanks Luke
But that data shows that people *don't* act differently when "their identity is compromised". Statistically they acted exactly the same as the control group who didn't have names on their cup at all. The paper explicitly points this out. Also, the study used 3oz paper cups in a lab-survey setting, not takeaway coffee cups. It's true to say that the people whose names were spelled correctly in the study recycled *more*, but even then, definitively saying that that's due to "identity bias" is kind of a huge stretch considering that the paper only lightly describes the setup of that experiment, has a small and specific sample size, doesn't give full results data, barely discusses possible confounding variables, misses some pretty obvious ones and isn't particularly generalizable to a real-world scenario.
Thanks for pulling me up on the detail Drew. Is there a study you can suggest that better illustrates when identity is compromised?
Ha 😂, it reminds me of the SLAP technique that many Brit holidaymakers do. If a foreigner doesn't understand, they just say it slow, louder and point (SLAP)
I'm a fan and love your take on making BS and behaviour easier to understand. Are you familiar with David Rock's SCARF model?
I am though I haven’t worked with it
Thank you so much for that terminal hack!! It fixed it right away! I will subscribe for you.
I’m so pleased it worked for you 👏
Thank god I found this video! iMovie annoys the crap out of me when it does this!!
It's a pain, isn't it!
It worked like a charm. EyE See and Appreciate You
That’s great. Thanks for letting me know.
OMG I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Sounds like it worked then?!🤣 Great news!
You look like every age at once. It's pretty cool And i love interesting subtle language stuff like this. Thanks
Well, I’ve never been told that before…
Same goes for the opposite, even if they say they don't, they might be lying
Very true

Hallelujah!! Thank you SO MUCH!!
Hello. Iam Joanne fezza I like change behavior
Good points
no luck
That's a shame. Sometimes it can take an absurdly long time, so be patient! I've never not had it work for me.
isnt 2x more like 100% better and not 200%
See how confusing it is? That's the challenge when we use %
Thanks.
Great job! Well-explained and so interesting!!
I’ll be eating what I want to eat, but I prefer mine fresh, not stale or rotting from Coles or Woolies
Woman, May God be with you ! 💖 thank you so much !!
I reckon you weren't taught how to be Australian, but your qualified now aren't ya. Go have a shandy and chill out.
Surely this only works on idiots?
Well, only if we're all idiots Craig. That's what's so interesting about behavioural science - the effects often don't make rational sense. Here's the research paper if you're interested: www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1057740811001082
@@BriWilliamsI believe what you are telling me is that there are far more idiots than I thought there was. If someone is influenced by 50k v's 50 000.00, how are people ever going to realise that they are being influenced by propaganda or even a slightly complex marketing program? I suppose that explains the response to Pfizer's vaccine marketing campaign. The sheeple gobbled up that BS.
Thanks for sharing your POV Craig
@@BriWilliams LOL. My last reply to you appears to have been scrubbed from the comment section. 🤔Did I mention the wrong companies name.
That's interesting Craig. I didn't scrub it, and while I can see it in the channel comments dashboard I can't see it in the public shorts. For the record, here it is "@BriWilliams I believe what you are telling me is that there are far more idiots than I thought there was. Thank you so much
Glad it helped 😁
Fantastic--you saved my life!
Glad I could help!
Thank you Bri!!!!!
Thank you sooo much😍it worked for me😁my files are safe💗
I'm so pleased. Thanks for letting me know.
The hair and your eyes look great!👌🏾✨
Thank you for this ! You saved my video !
I'm so pleased. Thank you for thanking me 😃
Great stuff as always Bri ...
Thanks Dave
Good news - from 2022 Kajabi now allows you to see which links in your email were clicked. This was one of the concerns I talked about in the "No analytics" section of the video. They detail how here: help.kajabi.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417248049947-How-to-View-Your-Email-Click-Report
In my case, this didn't work. I also tried multiple other solutions from various online articles including reinstalling the app, deleting the preferences, launching it in guest mode, and launching it in safe mode. No matter what I did, the app would open and the color wheel would spin indefinitely. In the end, I found my own guesswork solution...moving the library file out of the Home>Movies folder. Once I did that, the app opened and auto-generated a fresh empty library. Now that I could access the menu, I could select the old library and now it opened fine. It wasted most of my day though. Hope this helps someone else in cases when your fix doesn't do the trick.
Shame it didn't work for you, but glad you found another solution and it's really kind of you to share it here. Thanks!
@@BriWilliams 😊
Thanks it did help for me. Question, I moved the Library to the desktop, did you keep yours in a specific place, or did you put it back?
@@killahnoez It's been awhile, but it looks like my current iMovie library is in the Mac "Movies" folder while I placed the old libraries in a separate folder on my external drive. Hope this answers your question.
@@Pumpkin-Friend understood. Thanks again for putting up your solution. Glad I stumbled upon it, because none of the other methods were working for me, yours did. Now we are back up and running, and back to editing silly baseball videos and what not, cheers!
Watching for a 4 the time now! I’m starting to hate I movie!
I totally understand! I tend to use VEED instead now. It's a paid service and has its own issues but it's good to have an alternative for those days iMovie is not playing nice.
Are you my fairy Godmother ? Thank you, this worked ! xx
Your little video just allowed 140 at my summer camp to see their pictures and videos. Thank you SO much!! - Gary's Camp.
I'm so pleased you found the video and it helped - your comment warmed my heart. Thank you.
How long does this take? I tried for about an hour, no luck.
It depends on how much stuff the system has to work through, I suppose. In the video I mention 5-10 mins because that's been my typical experience, but it may take longer. Good luck!
Excellent topic and great tips Bri, thanks a lot! Another good reason to join your program.
Thanks Mete. It’s a difficult balance to strike, isn’t it?
lot's of value Bri .... curating the content is of course always key ...
Always. I find thinking about the audience is the best way to avoid over doing it ie it’s about them not me.
This was a great video - I like how you break them down into categories. I almost had to stop watching, though, because I found the music a bit distracting - it was great content, though so I kept going. This is just one person's opinion but it might be worth turning the background music volume down.
Thanks for your feedback. Once the video is loaded you can’t alter the sound. You may have noticed my more recent videos have less background lmusic.
I've just added this to my Audible library, sounds like a fascinating read! I'm curious about the third point - I've heard the opposite (in Rory Sutherland's Alchemy), where he talks about costly signalling theory, and things like wearing jewellery make us seem more wealthy/successful. Would you say that the growing preference for 'authenticity' and humility for consumers has changed this?
It's interesting, isn't it? The way Woo-kyoung Ahn describes the study, when one group were asked what they thought would make people interested in becoming their friend they nominated high status 'bling'. When another group were asked with whom they were interested in becoming friends, they preferred generic labels.
@@BriWilliams oooh, that is interesting!! Although when you put it like that, it does make more sense. Thanks for sharing!
THANKS BRI!
Would the steps get double counted if you do this?
Only if you are counting steps in the Noom app separately
Terrific, thanks Bri. I'd rather recommend a carb counter than a calorie counter - but that's a whole other story ;)
