Lee Lee's Camper-van Adventures
United Kingdom
Приєднався 3 вер 2009
Hi we are a retired Married couple my wife is gluten free coeliac and we travel in a full off grid camper van. A ford custom LWB L2H2 van, and then go on adventures walks, day's out posting trips and videos. We are also visiting coeliac bakeries and food outlets, around the UK as my wife was diagnosed with being a Coeliac two years ago. and there are very little outlets that provide full coeliac food. We are both now retired and want to make lasting memories we can look back on in years to come. and share them with the world. We are new at this so PLEASE bear with us as we learn our way and post our adventures. We are not doing this to make money or popularity but if you do like what we are posting and our content videos.
please give us a thumbs up. And don't forget to subscribe ( IT’s FREE) So we get inspired to keep filming and know what you all like to see. Thanks guys stay safe and be nice to each other.

Many thanks yes it is like a Tardis and it all works great we love the L2H2 LWB Custom it makes a great two berth camper but still fits in parking spaces. Thanks for watching and commenting ? may I ask where in the world you are 🙏
@ Surrey
@ nice area we are hopefully going that way in 2025 👍 and explore any good locations you can recommend 👍
@ I would recommend Dorking in the Surrey hills
visited this jumble manymany times over the years , i was suprised to see the inside with so LTTLE stalls has the entrance price put people off ? i t did me for last 6/7 years and i only live 10 miles away
Its £10 but if you buy stuff its not bad value for money, but yes you could be right it is a bit high. Mind you the volume of people going is up big time so there must be something attracting them, we enjoy meeting the sellers and seeing what bargains we can find, and we have found some great cheep stuff, if you do bite the bullet and go and you see me pop over say hi it will be great to meet you. 👍 stay safe. Michael 🫶
I think the video ended just as we got to the front trenches unfortunately 😂 still an amazing video hope to see you and your wife at the shows in 2025.
Next time! Its a date lol
I worked at Gedling Colliery from 73 to 87. I was an electrician on the surface. A great video of the railway line, did you know there used to be a slurry pipeline that ran from the colliery all the way down the length of the railway line to the settling ponds that were situated at the side of the river Trent? At various points there were pipeline monitoring manholes, one being near the Wood Lane bridge. Occasionally faults would occur in the monitoring equipment which would indicate back at the Colliery that the pipeline had sprung a leak. We would say "it looks like we are pumping slurry all over Gedling " On investigating the situation it was always an electrical/electronic issue and, fortunatly, not a leak.
@@StephenMartin-dn4rk hi Stephen it’s great to hear Gedling stories from pit workers. I hope you enjoyed the video it took some making 😂 the Gedling country park is a lovely memory and they have a tribute to the pit. Look at the drone fly over if you haven’t already. Stay safe and thanks for dropping in 🙏🫶👍
Did you make it to the 1940's weekend? It was a bit wet.... Great video of our steam loco, nice to see the different perspective using the 360.

They're taking all the padlocks of that bridge to do the necessary repairs and maintenance and replacing the grills with steel sheeting so that padlocks can't be fixed anymore. I'm 84 and I've never been to Buxton or Bakewell but after watching your 3 videos I've been there now lol so thanks for posting
@alanhart5694 are you a pudding or tart man that’s the question
Probably pudding
Got a shout out 😂 Loved watching you cook and could literally smell it !! Looked delicious … The rain made it even more cosy 😁 A big healthy thumbs up xxx
@@jennilocke4017 just for you glad you liked it x
That aerial shot was like an alien starship patiently surveying the land below it and accompanied with that menacing music great filming I love it. Buxton is a really nice place and our late Queen would only ever drink Buxton water. You certainly showed us around everywhere, nice video and photography so thankyou for posting
Owe thanks for a lovely comment look out for part two next Saturday 🙏👍
11am I won't need to go to zoo now because after watching your video I've been there while sitting in my armchair so thank you very much and I enjoyed the day

what a bad design
Ok its not everyone’s design but it works for us it was a choice of three vans. And it all works great for two adults. What is it you think doesn’t work or you don’t like in particular ?
❤❤😂😂It's a great video. I'll enjoy watching it. 👍 👍
Its on my list
Hi Gillian it’s a touching place to visit very emotional you will defiantly enjoy it. Just pick a dry warm day so you can enjoy the location and take a pack up to eat somewhere quiet 🙏👍
I worked in the weighbridge at Gedling Colliery in the late 1960’s. Happy days.
I remember the location of the weigh-bridge myself, i hope the video brought back some good memories for you. Thanks for reaching out and making a comment.
@@LeeLeesAdventures Yes it does. I spent most of my time as a young lad in the weighbridge for coal being transported by rail. Recorded the details then made the labels out and had to then go down the sidings to put the labels on the wagons. Enjoyed it especially when I got lifts on the Gedlings own steam locos taking coal wagons to the bottom of Mapperley top to be winched up. One of the locos was named King George v. Lived at top of Carlton hill and worked shifts, either caught the Paddy bus or cycled. Those were the days!
What an amazing memory thanks for sharing it with us all 🙏👍 stay safe
