Except for American dj stinger spot I only like chauvet dj intimidator spot 110 and then soon or later I’m getting a new light which is the chauvet dj bank led

I had an old adj inno pocket roll, but I got rid of it to add better lights

Apparently they don’t make the same wattage and voltage that light uses 120v 300w and I don’t want to modify it because it’s a bit a lot of work and I don’t want to rip out any wires from the motor or fuse

I did have 2 before it’s the American dj startec series stinger spots but I have to trash them because they are dead one of them arced and melted the plastic head and the other one made a loud pop noise which almost send me flying out my chair I might get new ones the intimidator spot 110s

I like moving heads in my opinion because I think they are cool I also like lights with rotating motors and with the static ones with pods in them that can be controlled individually

This is why I use fog machine outside during parties because no party is fun without smoke effects

Yes when it starts up it checks itself to make sure it’s aligned correctly

Looks like one but it’s been replaced by the derby x because that thing was very cheap when it arrived the bracket was bent and one screw was loose and then a year ago the motor finally burnt out I got the derby x because it’s silent and no fan it’s air cooled

I wished I could but I have a smoke alarm in the garage I don’t have a ladder to take it down because my dad is using it he told me some woman who was meses up by having a lot of drinks crashed into her friends entire fences and my dad needed it to reach to fix them he’ll return it when he’s done

I may however I need to see cuz when I got the unit the motor needed to be replaced and we already gave it to someone who may be able to fix it but we don’t know if he knows how that will turn out

Also, if you’re planning to get an American DJ lotus or o dome you need to know these things first before it becomes a huge surprise to you because one the units can smell like it’s burning, but that’s supposedly normal since the bulb is oversized along with that you might also want to use every single second of those units being turned on wisely, because that unit heats up so much and so quickly this isn’t even the only lighting unit that I even have that heats up this quickly because the Chauvet line dancer heats up a lot then again, I would expect it to happen since it has three thin bulbs that are kind of long however if my o dome does get repaired I may actually post a video on the unit operating, but I need to see if both reaction modes work with the new motor because since there’s a DIP switch that changes the reaction of how that unit reacts to music then I’ll have to test both of those modes out to see if they work if not, then whatever effect is coming out of unit motor wise is basically the only thing that unit has now

And a chauvet obey 40 dmx controller

@@christhekid674 it’s a great setup. You have a good future ahead of you. Pay attention to and learn about lasers, and which ever programming languages that you would/could/make up for controlling them and other effects that would/might alter them for coolness. Have you seen the holiday light shows? Those are addressable led, and it’s not too difficult to learn the coding. If you have not looked at the holiday lights, or not too much. This year, one of those channels threw drones in the show. That was stupid. Again some programming.

@@johnsimun6533 I programmed my lights with my chauvet dmx controller but if you seen the video of the chauvet obey 40 light show when the kinta hp goes out you’ll see the scan dim and the other one rotates it’s because I accidentally set the wrong dmx channel

I had returned the keyboard and kept the mouse and I just got a new computer which is a green iMac
