Thanks, I downloaded and installed, but i have error then try to use , the font is missing.
Hi Laimonas. Have you tried changing the font in the inspector?
@@gideonbosman Thanks i will try.
I cant find that whoosh sound effect anywhere? Can you help? haha
@@rcribb1996 Hey man! Sure thing. Are you using epidemic sound? They changed their library recently - but I can help you find something similar!
@@gideonbosman yeah I have an ES account, much appreciated !
@@rcribb1996 Okay. Try this - look for “Riser reverse” > drag it into your timeline > right click, select change speed > select reverse > go to your inspector > drop the pitch a bit
Okay hang on - now I can’t find it either! Haha. Let me find something else.
Okay look for “Big Hit 02”
@gideonbosman Hi Gideon. I purchased it and received a PayPal receipt but haven’t received a download link or email.
Hi Moustafa. I've emailed you the files! Let me know when you get them!
@@gideonbosman got them! Thanks for the prompt reply. Looking forward to using them.
Shipping address stays to Africa. Price shows "9,99" with coupon discount of "7,99" so it's asking me to pay 2,99.
Hi SpaceDave. Hopefully the problem has been resolved. If the problem persists, please email me (contact details under contact popup) and I’ll sort you out.
Hey Gideon, I think you need to allow global checkout or no shipping required since you are selling a digital product. I can't seem to have a shipping option.
Hi there. Thank you for letting me know. Send me an email - I’ll share the files with you.
molto interessante e ben fatto il tutorial, grazie. Ne potresti fare (o consigliare) uno per ottenere gli stessi risultati con photoshop? Grazie.
👍
THanks, it's a nice way to explain reverse engineering in coloring
Wow! Color grading really gives emotion to a picture. I think what is "normal" or "realistic" on camera looks boring and that's why we need to set the tone though color
Very enjoyable presentation style and highly educational, excellent!
Interesting, thank you.
Hey Gideon , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you to grow your channel by providing you all the value and help which will need to grow your channel ! Please Lmk what do you think ?
Scarily easy? The most scary thing to me was how your opening reel style was similar to Peter's and then THAT signature at the end.... Ah come on now, I know we all get our inspirations but how about being original? The world doesn't need another Peter McKinnon.
Thank you! A very helpful approach to understand color grading! You just turned something abstract into something that is pretty easy to decode.
Superb! Never thought of it this way.
😉
really like the video perfect idea for me for practicing
Great to hear! Thank you for the feedback Captain Strak
great video, thanks! looking forward to more from you
Awesome! Thank you for the feedback!
Hi Ray. The answer is the LENSE. This was shot on a Canon EOS R6, with a 70-200mm f2.8 MKII L series lens (@ 75mm, f18, ISO1600 1/160 shutter speed). Thank you for your feedback. I’ll do more edits like this. What Genre should I do next?
How did u get so nice and clean photo without editing it? What camera and lens did u use? Love the breakdown of the edit. Would love to see more and all different genres :)
Hi Ray. I used a Canon EOS R6 with a 70-200mm f2.8 MKII L series lens. The key is the choice in lens. This was shot at 75mm f18 ISO1600 and 1/160 shutter. I’ve used f18 to capture as much detail as possible, and used 75mm from about 2m from the subject to ensure we still get the blurred background. I specifically exposed for the blacks to ensure I retain detail and as a result thereof we have overexposed highlights - which I don’t care too much about. Thank you for the feedback. What genres are we talking about?🤪
@@gideonbosman I would love to see cars and portrait and different lightning when it's more sunny or more cloudy
Okay sure - I’ll keep that in mind! Let’s go!
🤙🏼
More please ❤
Hi Ray. Just uploaded another video on a dark style photo edit. Hope you enjoy!
In this video, I learned a lot of things.
A million thanks man!!! I truly thank you for your patience in editing the video and taking the time to share it!
Any time! Glad you liked it
nice video, but i dunno what kind of resolution u use, but even on my 4k 32" Monitor its hard so follow your steps , every text is soooo tiny small - guess a scale increase upfront to your recording would be nicer!
Hi David. Thank you for the feedback. I’m using scaled to 4k on a Mac Mini. I’ll change the scale from now on - thats great feedback. Anything you’d like clarity on?
So much happiness in one video. She is so talented. ❤
Hi Goran. Thank you for the feedback. Have a great weekend!
Nice video brotha, support from Serbia. Just keep workin', you have charisma.
Hi Laimonas. Thanx again for your support and feedback. I hope you have a great week!
Simple, Easy, Fast. Thanks
This is what i need. Thanks. Great video
Hi LaimonasRimkus. Thank you for the feedback. I’ll do another sound design video next week. What should we focus on…hmmm🤔
amazing bro.. I learn a lot!!!
Hi neujus! Thank you for the feedback. Great to hear. Have a great week🤪
Great video, i did learn some interesting tips :0
Glad to hear!
Just god Dehancer and it seems like a great addition to my workflow. I think leaking you scopes open during adjustments can help with tweaking both compression and expansion sliders...
thought you gonna pick colors from pallet ??? using picker !!
Lol.. The problem with that kinda edit is everyone and their DOG is using it.. Can't stand out when everyone is doing it. And it will look dope on your monitor but not others. Mac and Pc show totally different looks. Same for phones.
Hi MrDan1509. Yeah you’re right. Every device have a different color profile. Editing on a color calibrated monitor will also not produce the same results as the end viewer is probably also looking at it on their phone which has its own color profile. But generally speaking this would not have too much of an influence and your photo will still look good over all platforms and devices. This video is merely a recommendation of an editing method to develop your own style. The intention should not be to copy it, but rather to try something similar to your own taste, as we as viewer want to see your art, and your perception of what art should look like. When it comes to a photo’s ability to stand out, I would say that it is based on the contents of the photo and the story it tells. I use color grading only as a tool to further create the feeling I had when in that moment. There are however elements of a creator’s character which carries through in their editing style. Have a great week!
@@gideonbosman The big problem is due to digital age most images are just that...an image. No story to them so now everyone is trying to be cool with a dope edit and some cool watermark.. The watermark tho is a converstion of its own.. Lol..
@@MrDan1509 🤓
As someone who loves playing with the colors in photos, I can't believe I never thought of this! Thanks so much for sharing your technique! 🤗

I like your approach. Very professional. Hope to see part 3 very soon. Good luck.
Going to try this myself xD
You have such a quality stuff, but when I see your subs, I be like OH MY GOD, IS THIS MY CONNECTION PROBLEM OR SOMETHING😪 you deserve more
Dude...amazing work but holy hell you're moving SO fast. Maybe slow down your tutorials and I'm sure you'd have a larger audience.
Thanks for the tip
great one mate thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video, Gideon. Thank you! I've been trying to find the answer for the "Video Monitoring" settings, and it seemed no one really knew the answer. Thank you for confirming those settings aren't used unless you have a dedicated coloring monitor.
Glad I could help!
Great video but can you do more of a tutorial (slower/step by step) thank you
Hi Bro, Great initiative. May I suggest something to improve your video. Next time if could just quickly jump into what you want to share with audience. In this video you took 1:50 minutes to start editing. Thanks for sharing and continue doing the good work.
I just subscribed because of this video on Project Settings. You sound like you really know your stuff. I'm impressed and after spending weeks trying to understand DavRes you hit the nail of the head for this one. Question, I can import media, make a youtube worthy video (render) but how do I start a new project and get rid of everything that I used in the previous project??? If I close DavRex then try to reopen it, it won't open so I have to reboot my computer. What am I doing wrong. Wow, I hope you do so many more tutorials on DavRes.
I am glad you could learn something. You surely have a strange situation going on, and I am at this stage unsure if I understand you correctly. The reboot issue sounds like a computer specification problem, or in english “your computer might be too slow” as the program is quite resource intensive. With regards to starting a new project; simply click on the “New Project” button at the bottom of the Project Manager when launching DavRes. You can also access the Project Manager from within the editor by clicking on the house icon on the bottom right of the screen. I hope this helps!
