When this video was made the juvenile was approximately 5 1/2 weeks old. It is now going for short flights while the parent looks on. Approximately 5 weeks prior the juvenile's 2 younger siblings mysteriously disappeared. Although, there is video evidence to suggest that this older nestling was involved.

Lovely to see.Thankyou for sharing
Lovely! How many days old are they?
Excellent question. If you go to the 6-5-23 video it captured the first actual evidence of nestlings. although it is suspected that there was at least one a few days earlier. So they're at least 53 days old.
Brilliant footage. Thankyou for sharing. Subscribing now
Wow! Seeing is believing. I would love to see the arrival, landing on nest, if you have it. Curious to see their reactions.
It is such a beautiful sharing, my friend. I am please to watch this. Thank you so much. Stay connected. Cheers.
Thanks. Unfortunately I know from experience that the osprey season is very short.
I actually think that juvenile came and sat on wire in front of the house here on Appian!!! It was around that time!
The video was shot very well
Wow.... not fostering independence even with Ospreys???!!!!
Beautiful ❤❤
But Mom let them figure it out....👍
Saw great to be able to watch this unfold! Thanks!!!
one of my favorite scenes. family is together and busy tending the nest and kids!
THIS IS ONE SPECTACULAR ENTRY! reminded me of a scene in TOP GUN movie.
WOW! 3 birds in the nest? bird on the left must be the juvenile that's almost fully grown. @02:13 i one bird coming home! @3:15 one pees away from the nest! and @4:00 a third bird lfies back in and helps rearrange sticks.

Do I only see 1 little one now....🤔
Yay! Confirmed nestlings!😁
Only 1 little one??
Nice job filming as always. I'm glad you turned on the comments section. I'm the big guy from this morning.
Thanks for the comment. It took me a while to figure out the system
Is this the earliest ever?
Great job as always. See you soon.
I noticed that by specifying the video was suitable for kids blocks comments. I've undone that setting so if anyone can spot a third chick let us know.
Great video. It was a pleasure meeting you last weekend. Keep up the great work. See you soon.
Loved this video! Thank you for sharing.
I see 3!!! Great cam work.
Did y ou actually go out in the rain or was this done with a remote?
Is this a new nest? Not a lot of protection yet.
This platform is a little over a year old. It replaced the one destroyed in August of 2015. The nest consists mostly of materials from last year although they have been adding to it since their arrival. In addition, the new platform is constructed differently so its sides are higher creating a deeper nest even though it does not appear so.
Amazing!
