Distraction beacons fool all three enemy races equally. you'd think the Protoss would be smart enough to ignore them, but nope.

I'm not getting any movement on the influence bar single player or couch co-op no matter how many challenging o hard missions I grinded through. Seems broken somehow.

These are some good tips, using multiple distractor beacons, but I did not like using them because it took the desperate fight out of the game. I would throw two flame wall fire strikes around an objective and perhaps a gatling gun turret and fight like mad while completing the objective. But it's difficult! The beacons made it too easy, though.

Yeah, they upped the difficulty by including those Retaliatory Strike missions. Distraction Beacons are probably useless with those since the environment is so small and you are just being mobbed with waves of enemies.

Missions are usually easier by yourself on Helldivers. Since you don't have to worry about friendly fire, its easier to be stealthy, and less enemies will spawn.

Now I don't have to deal with dumbasses who just spam air drops, get me, the HOST, killed, and then call me a noob because they threw it right under my feet while I'm in an exo suit. And exo suits are slowish, especially if you're trying to turn and shoot. For some reason the turning animation has an affect on your speed and you go slower than you're supposed to. Fucking bullshit.

6:44 (talking about the distractor beacon 'exploit') im not sure if they got nerfed ever, but i think its a decent strategy, and i dont consider it a 'cheat' or anything like that. It might seem like it takes away the challenge, but hey, you can always try it without them.
