This is the most perfect realization I ever heard of Mozart;'s great g minor symphony. MOLTO ALLEGRO, passion, shading, clarity, superb rhythm, just not enough words to praise it.

What a performance! and great camera work, too. I am devoted to Telemann and Bach, but sometimes Mozart is so elegant that you can barely comprehend it.

A wonderful sparkling performance. A pity it kept being interrupted by adverts pounding out rock music in the middle of a movement.

Such fidelity to every note and every space between them but utterly sublime as a whole. Miraculous.

Ja, es ist schon problematisch, die 29. mit einer 4er Besetzung, noch dazu dann mit nur 2 Celli und einem Baß zu spielen. Die subito Forti (T13) sind zu viel hart, um nicht zu sagen brutal, was z. Bsp. dem etwas melancholischen 1. Satz (fallende Oktav) nicht gut tut. Das sollte man in Salzburg wissen. In der Besetzung entsteht einfach nicht dieser besondere Schmelz: Oboen und Hörner sind oft einfach zu präsent gegen 4 1.Vln. Trotzdem eine sehr gute virtuose Leistung. Vielleicht doch besser mit einem profilierten Dirigent?

I think the profundity of the second movement is so totally unique, those depts will not be reached again until well entered the Beethovenian era. In all the classic symphonic output of the time, there's no sound and dept comparable. And man, THE MENUETTO! speechless.

FABULOUS performance!! As awestruck as I was to hear this bright, crisp and passionately played symphony [my favorite of all of Mozart's work!], can you imagine what it would have been like in the late 1700's when this piece was first played? Pure genius to write it and 240+ years later, still inspiring awe. The spirit, the energy, the professionalism and the acoustics - all incredible and came together for a perfect performance. AUSGEZEICHNET!! BRAVO!!
