Kerry Kearney feat The Marty Balin Band - Love Me Slow
This is a real good song. She sings it really good and very heartfelt.
Sounds aweful, how to destroy a beautiful song.
whatabeautifulsoundbrother!!!!!
Thanks a million !!! My friend Roy Wilcox [RIP] was there and taped the opening act, a Marty Balin solo opening set. Marty is only on one song with the gang here. I still have 1st Gen Marty set on tape.
Woah i just realised this is a remix of of larger than life by the back street boys.
Drummer is Prairie Prince (The Tubes, The New Cars)
I hear Grace slick. Also, where is Marty ballad? Best Jefferson starship album is blows against the empire.
As I type this, I watch the video while wearing the t-shirt I bought that day.
Boy, are they humorless and full of themselves for a band that just released “Planes” as a single.
Great song ❤
❤
From the Airplane and all it's reincarnations, spin offs and individual solo projects, they are the best! And it's even more special since I lived through it all at the same time they did. Forever rock on and Thank You for the endless sharing that you do. It is so greatly appreciated!!
U are good.
They are both bores
❤ ABSOLUTELY TRANSCENDENTLY COSMICALLY BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU FOR POSTING!❤
Thanks Cathy
Vivement vous voir à Arcadium Annecy jeudi 25 juillet hâte 😊 j'adore
I am surprised David Freyberg didn't play any guitar.
❤💖🎶🎸🎤👍👍👍🎶❤💖
I don't know if this show is really good, but the sound is good and I have always liked the way these Airplane, Quicksilver, Srarship musicians twist and mangle their songs. Playing and singing is loose, carefree and very pleasing to hear. My alltime favorite band!
💙💜❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Just came across this video post today. I attended the Berkeley, CA and the Fillmore shows and it was great to see and hear the band back live after so many years. I think actually it was nice that it was a one time shot rather than reigniting something from the past, nostalgia was the driving thing. What strikes me watching this, and always struck me as the Airplane progressed thru the years, is that Grace and Marty never seemed to strike a chord personally. They always seemed to be distant and at odds; never meshed, except occasionally vocally. For me, Grace was the driving voice, but I came to the Airplane around Crown of Creation/Volunteers and lasted and loved them thru Long John Silver, so Grace was the voice. The Balin/Slick relationship seemed to reek of a great antipathy toward each other. What was that about? Or am I wrong as other fans saw it?
It was Marty's band, with him doing vocals and much of the writing in the early days. That all changed when Grace joined. And on top of that, Marty went straight while everyone else was going hard on the drugs.
One of the most iconic if not the most beautiful love song ever written, miracles, was really poorly recorded marty Ballon didn't sound like he ever does song was'nt the same without Gracie Slick but I still loved it
Casady has some huge hands, like a professional athlete. No wonder he was able to make that bass sound like a growling demon.
One of my all time favs from them
This is an awesome song and a great band playing with Marti Balin!
I still remember this show
And the great party we had afterwards lol
Great version of the band.
Justran across these videos, Ilivedwith them inthe big house, 1970,73! .Isure missallofthem. My friends, Imcarryingonthe dream asbestIcan.😎👍🎻🎸🎸🎹Somewhereout therewaitingona, Wonder.🎹❤️🥁🥁😪😀,Yeah.
What happened?
Interesting. "Dream Motorcycle" from KBC, 15 or so years later? And played without PK? This band was always full of surprises...and about 1:32, a killer version of "Ride the Tiger" (in honor of all the animals in the zoo), with just Marty and Diana on vocals. If you can disregard a bit of distortion on the fan recording, this is an amazing show.
An incredible song
Marty's voice not loud enough, poor equipment for such an erotic, perfect song
I loved Marty's voice but Grace's voice was a powerhouse
What a fun interview especially when Jack joined in, Marty is absolutely gorgeous with blond hair, I almost met him, Marty was a visionary with extraordinary talent
this looks a bit like " time dialation " tech, imho
BEAUTIFUL SONG. TIMELY.
You can tell she's originally from here in Chicago. Her whole affect, personality, sense of humor and accent reeks Chicago. lol

Twenty years on, we will finally get an "official" version of this demo song on the "Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Edition" album, to be released 11th October 2024. Track 15 - Standing All Alone (bonus demo)
So it is this song? I can't wait! ❤
Matk Aguilar from Pax (Perú) on guitar?
Being from the Bay Area i got to see 3 shows during their ""89''" reunion in a 2 week span....First show was at the Greek Theater in Berkeley on the Cal campus...2nd show was at the Fillmore in S.F....3rd show was in Golden Gate Park S. F...What was so kewl about the show in the park was all the old hippies came back to the city and there was about 20 of the old psychedelic painted buses that were parked down at the beach.....Have seen some version of this band , Jefferson Starship, KBC Band, or Hot Tuna close to 40 times in just about every bay area venue and some you wouldnt think of....
JS/TNG on this tour was really their peak. If only Darby had continued touring regularly, and this level of energy could have propelled them further
Such high energy and the band was on fire. Especially in the second half of the show. And that version of America….never heard PK channel Springsteen until then in that Kansas City verse…thank you!
I can't tell from this show just why they had Randy Jackson playing a third guitar. Paul's 12-string is the usual, and Jorma seems like he's doing some variation on his leads, so I don't get it.
Diana Mangano beaultiful singer.
Great singer and hot.
❤️
The original Airplane Lady still rocks.❤
Flower power died when the flowers were crushed by the ripoffs in the name of capitalism.
Jack Traylor was on some of the early stuff too.
2 voci per 1: quella della slick
This is a long way off from the heydays of the original QMS sound - it's tired, lame and lack lustre.
