Meet Marvin Jacques, an electrician in New Mexico! In high school, Marvin's curiosity sparked a conversation with an electrician who worked at his school about what it would be like to be a professional electrician. After that, Marvin knew would become an electrician too. As soon as he graduated high school, he began his journey pursuing that goal, attending classes and taking any opportunity he could to master the profession.
During his career, Marvin has worked on a variety of different projects including electric vehicle installations, solar power, and more. Marvin told us, "If you like to build things and see new, different things, this is definitely the trade for you." He says it is rewarding to know that whatever he encounters as an electrician, he knows he can figure it out.
