I saw Richard Pryor at the Auditorium in Chicago 1977/1978....I laughed so hard I actually slid down my chair and fell on the floor....I couldn't get up for a few minutes....and then I fell down again. He was BY FAR the funniest guy I have ever heard in my life. R.I.P. Richard.

Everyone laughing at the top of their lungs, no one offended, no one cancelled, and a classic sketch goes down in history. Today - no one can get through a shelf without staring at cue cards through the whole sketch, and the sketches are so tied back to avoid offending anyone but republicans because no one wants to get cancelled. This SNL sketch is just Iconic. Richard and Chevy are on point! My mouth was agape as I heard "N&$$@!" on regular TV. The impression was impactful and side splittingly funny. Richard's facial expression sells the entire presentation. Back in the day...this was the talk around the water cooler on Monday. Way too progressive for todays' audience. Glad to see.... it is still in the SNL archives. CLASSIC! Thanks Richard!!

A lot of people feel too privileged to hear this FUNNY FUNNY skit today. These are by and large the same privileged people who call their janitors privileged while demanding their janitors pay for their college debt.

I remember seeing this (have seen it a few times since) I still always laugh my arse off! It truly was hilarious! I liked Chevy and absolutely loved Richard Pryor...he's still missed by many in our generation.
