Craftsman quality went down the toilet.. I've had to replace my 1/2 drive ratchet about 3 times.. Then this last time, I had to go online, register all types of bullshit, chat, send pics, with a bot, then finally I'm going to have a new one mailed to me next month.. I'm glad I didn't buy this shit.. Home Depot and harbor freight returns are King!

Holy shit I just did the same shit the other week on the job site. Left the line at the shop but I found zip ties in the work truck. Worked great until it came time to hit the weeds in the fat river rocks.

Snap on pliers are my favorite. Nothing comes close aside from knipex, and klien is okay. But all the other tool truck pliers just feel like cheap stuff, like the cheap blue points and china stuff like pliers i grew up with as a kid idk. I get what youre saying.

@josephnfabiano3 kill the power while the carriage is in motion. Try and unplug her, before the carriage makes it "home"

Before it's ready to be sold, dimensional lumber is dried and then planed to make it smooth. Wood shrinks as it dries and the planing or surfacing process removes some of the original material.

That reminds me , the last Honda lower A-Frame that needed the same thing done (ball joints) I broke the vise in our shop where I worked , not a mechanic shop , anyways , that vise was probably the biggest vise I ever seen before long story short , I should of used the hot wrench (TORCH) , at the beginning of that job , next time I will !

The real shame is that Craftsman stopped production in the United States and now resides in China! They still have a lifetime guarantee on automotive tools though I’ll give them that.

having that extra cut in the wrench can make the open end weaker as there are now 3 sharp transitions, with each now being a concentrated weak point and potential point of fracture/cracking under heavy loads...with the traditional "U" shape the rounded opening dissipates and spreads the load over a longer surface area, increasing the strength of the opening....

I'm not really sure really.. about the dealer ..it should be the same exact sequence as honda.. inquire in person at the dealer and turn on the charm.. be ultra friendly and pleasant and try and discuss any other topic for a few minutes at the counter before springing the big question. If your really desperate bring a dozen donuts lol

Spent the last three days trying this process and finally passed the the smog inspection today after 3 total stops to the smog shop and 100+ miles driven. Make sure to do every step correctly. I didn't put the AC/Defroster at max and I think that was holding me back from getting the Malfunction Indicator Lamp to disappear instead of flash 5 times. If you live in a heavy traffic area, do this in the early morning (2-3 am) on the freeway and coast down on a long exit since they're more isolated. I really wish smog shops would just advise doing the drive cycle instead of driving x amount of miles. Certain events won't happen even after 1000 miles driven.
