thank you for this review - it seems just like other Art Spectrum pastels - different pigments provide different softness levels

So may I ask... What is the difference from chalk pastel to ... Soft pastels? I really appreciate your time. Newbie. Xo

I just learned from Dakota Pastels that the individual pigments affect hardness in all soft pastels. I thought I would like these quite a bit.

I bought myngo soft pastels got it today from amazon, I haven’t tried it on pastel havenyried on pastel paper but have on sanded paper I made on mixed media paper I got for 60 pages /5$ that I painted with clear gesso it came down beautifully on the sanded paper I made, it’s gorgeous on the paper I did myself I’ll try on actual pastel paper tomorrow when it comes in

I love khadi paper , I bought A 5 I believe I also bought from amazon wandering 100% cotton it feels thinner than it is, but takes water and watercolors so well and it’s only 18$ for 50 sheets, I’ve made several books already with that paper I’ve also made my own sanded paper which you’re suppose to use with pastels painting clear gesso onto paper
