I can't believe some artists have tried to cover George Michael's songs - they may have a technically good voice but George was more than an otherworldly golden voice, he was one of those incredibly rare artists who truly infused their vocals with a depth and emotion that others simply can't; whether it is because George was such an empathetic, kind soul I don't know (hard to imagine that isn't the reason) but, it is so incredibly rare. How many others with good voices bring you to tears or make you feel as much as many do when listening to George? I love all kinds of music, two artists bring me to tears and always have: George and Maria Callas (two different universes, really) but they had that mysterious additional indefinable something....❤
