No, it just respectfull boating to not be 30 yards from a boat fishing a spot when theres an entire lake to drive your boat. Granted this isnt that bad but it looks like there is tons of space for the other boater not have coasted by that close. Just a respect thing.

Jesus. Id have tried another rod after the second broken one. On a cast is ridiculous.
Moved on for sure but $29 lifetime replacements will keep my rod count the same. Just won’t ever buy another outside of replacement cost
