That looks like a great kit. Love the hard case and the sharpener. Nothing worse than trying to clean an animal with a dull knife.

Great review Darrel , I remember answering that review and selected blaze orange for the same reason , I haven't lost the knife in the past , not permanently but have laid one down and couldn't find it for a while LOL . The sheath to take a knife would be a nice option , but I'd say I'd never use it because I hates a knife on the hip LOL. BUT ...I'd probably use it to put on one knife and have in me little pack that I'd have with the tags and license so I agree whole heartedly would be a great option. Hope you're having a great weekend hope you've had a chance to try those knives on a moose by now.

Great kit, I have a similar one that was a gift.. we use it int he kitchen a lot. As for a belt knife I have be using a Russel knife for over 40 years and it has been used on just about every animal i have harvested..

That's looks like a very nice kit. I have a similar one that my wife purchased for me but I haven't actually had the chance to use it on a moose yet. Hopefully a bit later this year.

I'm a bit slow at times , Ok Most times LOL, Seeing this post yesterday and for some reason thought I had seen this video. Tonight I'm scrolling through Facebook and realized that this is new, I'm sure that jerky is going to be delicious, I made some few years ago of varying degree of hotness lol, seems it disappeared quickly LOL. I've been meaning to get one of those jerky guns , you might have convinced me lol. I loves the spruce tea , thanks for the shout out, when ever I'm boiling up I always look for a young spruce. I've only ever been out moose hunting once so far and that was last December with 3 of my coworkers. You's got couple grouses, not bad! I came across one a couple days ago in the woods behind my house and for some reason, it followed me around like a dog! Very tame! it's great that you are able to go hunting with your father. Hope ye get a nice sized bull!

Good luck in the hunt; some beautiful country. I have a bull only license for area 35; I was out a couple of days but no moose yet. Lots of time in the season yet, though.

haha........the opening clip is of the Bay d'Espoir highway just before Nor West Gander bridge...............where the fire was a couple of summers ago..........The transmission lines are so great for hunting.........on the bright side if you got your moose there wouldn't be part 2
