VelocityOne Flight Stick Spring Tension Adjustment | Stiff Stick Fix
The VelocityOne flight stick arrives with a super tight stick. When you move it side to side the entire base wants to move with it. Cutting the spring down will fix this issue. Make sure to cut a little at a time until you’re satisfied with the feel!
*I recommend you try the “precision” setting under flight stick profiles on the VelocityOne screen after modifying the spring. It feels much more realistic! Use the large scroll wheel on the base of stick to access the menu.

LG Front Load Washer Bearing Knocking Banging Sound
Переглядів 41 тис.3 роки тому
If your front load washer is making noise during the high speed spin cycle, it’s likely bad bearings. It’s a pretty big job but they they be replaced if you take your time. You can either replace the bearings themselves for $80 for OEM or buy a whole half a tub assembly that has the bearings and seals pre-installed for around $250.

The knob will still turn off the gas after completing this mod but always turn tank off after evey use If you want to try to cut chunks of the spring out do not remove the spring first else it will become tangled and damaged. Cut a portion of the spring while it’s still installed and then pull out the chunk you cutoff Follow up to my crappy Part 1 video! Watch this to fix your fire pit that won...

Marcy Home Gym Weight Stack Upgrade Part 1

Marcy home gym custom weight stack upgrade. Used a Tuff Stuff cfm 555 weight set for $80 off Craigslist for parts. 200lb stack! A lot of cutting, grinding, and drilling but totally worth it! No welding. Actually surprised the top of the used weight set fit between the upper part of the Marcy gym perfect. Bottom of the weight stack just sitting on floor not attached to Marcy machine. You'll be able to test before you close it up. Start small. A tiny bit goes a long way. @lozzaridesemtb
Thank you so much you made it very clear and very simple. Much appreciated
How did you get your mech to fall so far mine only falls a few inches
@Spirithalloweenislife really? That is how far it always fell.
I took the copper wire out but there was no thermocoupler?
Just did mine. Now I notice the hall effect sensor on right and bottom are bottoming out way too soon. Can't figure out why. Might have been doing it before and I didn't notice. It registers full over when I'm just over half way. No amount of calibration changes it
Thanks so much great advice
The thermocouple is the "copper wire " What you are calling a thermocouple is the hold down coil . the fix is to replace the part in the fire the "thermocouple " it's suppose to create a certain value in millivolts . A thermocouple is about 9 bucks. the replacement coil is about 20 bucks Never disconnect a safety device on a gas appliance .
Really? Why even buy the home gym? It seems like you built and re-engineered the entire system. Honestly, with a little more effort, you could just build your own. Great job though
Just cut my spring and launched it into the abyss of my cluttered garage lmao. I found it eventually. This makes the stick a lot better thank you. I’ll prolly get a yoke and pedals at some point (Boeing enthusiast) but this works for now
Your light switch had me dying :30😂
The "thermocouple" is the copper wire. The thing you modified is a "magnetic solenoid safety valve."
Thank you! It worked!
Someone mentioned using washers to reduce tension on the spring which sounds like a good idea I would try when I get the stick tomorrow... question though, if you add too much thickness would it affect the metal insert to the stick?
This was really helpful! Why do you leave the metal cage uncovered at this point?

Thanks man i was having issues and this saved my time and money happy holidays
You left out the part that we are wondering about. Show don't tell
@@derekamarpreet see part 2 in the description
Can you just eliminate the thermocouple instead of modifying it?
I did the same thing!! Works perfect now! 🎉
I will add my voice to the others and say, yes. This works.
TY SO VERY MUCH
THANK YOU
Thank you! I’m here because we bought one used and the fire kept going out even after the 45 seconds…. I just plumed the tank right to the the burner and turn the tank off and on to regulate the flame. I will “fix” this tomorrow with this new information.
Thanks for the fix!!
thank you! this fixed my problem :)
Bypassed and it had a fishy Oder now … 0:42
The best!
Thank you!!! Easy fix!
Just bought the stick and first thing was this hack. I also cut two parts of the spring that the stick just barely centers. thnx !
Thought I bought a lemon but so happy I found this video. Thank you, good sir!
wait i have this but mine never vibrates.. does this have vibration feature and if so how to use it with msfs if someone can help please thanks.
I need to replace the spider arm but couldn't find the part number for it and dont want to buy the whole inner basket assembly. Do you know the part number for your spider arm by any chance? I have the same washer
It works!!! after fighting with this thing for over a year. Thanks for the fix
THIS WORKS. THANKS FOR THE HELP
I’m guessing just like any other appliance, it probably cost the same to fix a t or get a new one, after parts and labor..
@@rafagro3906 I’d guess someone would charge $800-1000 so ya.
@@nateice1 Yes for sure.. here in Texas most places will charge you an arm and a leg for any repairs..
Hello, we have newly upgraded a LG washing machine bearing kit. Can you cooperate with us?
Very informative, thank you

@@JasioClass77 “useless” you are
Oh my gosh, THANK YOU! I have been struggling to fix our firepit for months and was about to cave and buy a new one. I cut the spring out and works like a charm, you are the best. Also loved the drawing and mechanics walkthrough, very helpful.
If the thermocouple spring is removed. Will you be able to extinguish the fire by turning the knob or will it need to be shut off at the propane tank?
Knob works still
Unrelated, but I have a problem with the H2 stick. I use it as my cockpit camera as you don’t have VR or head tracking on Xbox. The problem I am experiencing with it is for whatever reason after I downloaded the 1.1.6 update for the TB Flightstick, the camera will point left and down as if it has a stick drift issue. I’ve even tried to recalibrate the stick by holding B2 and B8 buttons for five seconds and going through the recalibration process. Despite this, it still is an issue anyway… Is there a way to either factory reset the Flightstick or to outright fix this issue? I really do not want to spend money on a replacement flight stick.
It's been several months now, but were you able to fix this issue? Mine is doing the same thing. I can mitigate it by pressing down on the H2 stick and doing a couple of full 360 revolutions, but it eventually comes back.
@GH2117 Yea it’s still there sadly. And I’ll try what you did with yours. You tried to get yours to connect to rudder pedals?
Amazing hack thank you so much for doing this video. You saved me hundreds of dollars from buying a new one.
You are the man!!!! Been trying to figure out, self diagnose, Google and had no luck. Finally stumbled upon your video and this was the exact fix!!! Seriously thank you so much! My family gets a lot of joy out of this and we are happy to have it back!!
what exactly did you use to cut the spring?
Thanks for posting this!
Mine started sounding like this after ~12 months. I've been using it like this for another 12 months, and now I'm seriously concerned that it might explode as it got far worse. LG is a joke. I'm buying a new one from the "S" competition, but will try to fix it and aftermarket it to some LG maniac.
love the picture example, very straight forwarded. hope to see more
You're a rock star working great now
Couldn't you just remove the thermocouple and just cap the fitting it was placed in?
You could replace the silver cap with a hole with a cap, yes.
Holy Cow! The manufacturer (Sunbeam) had already sent us 2 replacement tables. The 3rd one a year ago and then all of the sudden same issue, wouldn't stay lit unless you held it in. 150 Articles and UA-cam Videos with no fix, here we are!
I have no idea how to do this evening after watching us. How do you take the spring out?
