FAI F5J - the Introverted, Individual and Intellectual sport of silent heights. Riding invisible air currents from the lowest heights possible, staying in the air for a defined period of time and coming back to land on a designated spot is the goal here. How it is done depends greatly on the weather conditions and pilot skill.

Challenging wind created plenty of interesting moments in the air, like an interesting recovery almost from the landing back into heights in the second flight. Also good to see junior as a winner. Congratulations :)

Largest F5J event on this side of the pond, with up to 140 pilots. Interesting and tricky place to fly, this year with additional unstable air mass that provided us with some showers and luckily very gentle winds.

Szeged got us unusually warm and nice weather this year. This gave us some interesting moments in the air - strong thermals also bring strong sinks and that made all the difference in first round. Perfect return to flight at first competition at Larissa, Greece. Anemoi gifted us with perfect weather just in the 36h time window we needed it. Despite 3 and a half year break I'm super happy with my flying as it was pretty easy to score full 1000 points.
