i come from Montecupo with great greetings i come from Tarantiello with a spear and a basket (sporta/spurtiello, i think that's that) we are three brothers three worthy sailors one is called Gennaro, he fishes goatfishes and squids the other one is Vicienzo, he fishes without a license excuse me, ladies and gentlemen, my father named me Pulletrone (Poltrone = Lazy) because i keep always this cane in my hand One day i was travelling the sea i saw a mullet fighting a squid with the spear i stabbed it with the coppo (a sort of net) i captured it and into my gozzo (a little fishing boat) i throwed him. I was passing through Santa Lucia and everybody exclaimed "What a mullet! Holy grief!" the stoolmaker was fascinated "How did you catch such a beautiful mullet?" Then i saw a Calabrese (a man from Calabria), he wanted to buy stuff at very little price (literally "he would buy groceries with 4 frogs") (this part is not present in the video) I asked everybody "is this even allowed?" They said "No!" I reached my knife and i hit his hat lucky me, the hat didn't worn out (hat were really expensive, i suppose) (now he says) Alice, Alice, your eyes are like splendid frames if I come upstairs, what would your mother say about that? "come up, you're the landlord here!" (then they sing) trallero trallero etcetera there is also a second part, i can translate it for you if you are still interested. Sorry if something is unclear :D
