Bamboo Oldhamii - How to grow a Bamboo fence line with wind and noise protection, shade and privacy.

See how this row of tiny Bamboo soldiers transformed into a mighty Bamboo Army at Tones' Backyard.
This Bamboo fence line was planted with the intention of it one day in the future becoming a massive wind and noise barrier that provides plenty of shade, privacy and a beautiful backdrop to Tones' Backyard.
This particular type is bamboo oldhamii which grows in clumps of up to 2m in diameter. It is currently 3 years old and it set to grow to approximately 20m (or 65 feet) in height over the next 2 - 3 years.
Tone's Backyard will provide a similar update to this over the next 2 - 3 years to track its further progress and see how tall this Bamboo fence line can actually become.
