Glad I could find this - I remembered Bob Dorian’s introducing The Uninvited in its original broadcast, but didn’t recall which actress he was referring to when he told the story of one of the leading lady’s becoming frightened while reading the script. I’ve read a lot about this particular film but have not heard that story anywhere else - I wonder what his source was? FYI, he does get at least one fact wrong, The Uninvited is not ‘based on a supposedly true story’ it is based on a novel of fiction by an Irish author named Dorothy Macardle. Other than this clip I’ve never heard anyone imply the story was based on anything true.

I was looking for this movie for ages! I watched it when I was around 14-15 years old and I forgot the name of this story. I'm glad I can watch it again here. I always felt sorry for Zeke, he was the biggest victim here.

For years I thought I dreamt seeing this movie on "Late Great Movies" on CityTV (Toronto), sometime in the mid-90s. I could find no record of it on the internet. Then a few years back I started finding references to it...and now here it is! Thank you!

This is one of those rare movies that I watched as a kid only to learn as an adult that you can't really get it or buy it. Too many movies never made it on VHS or DVD for sale and you couldn't even find these movies on "alternative download" sites or torrent sites. I'm glad you managed to preserve a VHS rip. This is by far the best quality and about the only copy left that I can find online. Other movies from that era that seem to be non-existent: -Girlfriend from Hell -The Eliminators -The Fluppies -Pound puppies and the Legend of Big Paw -Some of the Cannon Film Series movies, even though I'm seeing more of them getting put on streaming services -MANY MANY animated cartoons, series, and their movies e.g., Rainbow Brite, Lambchops, the original Smurfs series and movies, The Drew Carey Show, Murphy Brown, the original glowworms, the Snorks, Madballs, Pacman, the Wuzzles, The Get a Long Gang, and so many more.
