“Passages” is our very first Various Artist EP including a variety of sounds by ten beloved Artists. It marks the beginning of our fundraising campaign, including an event @://about blank and a t-shirt sale on our bandcamp page. In doing so, we want to raise awareness of an issue that keeps losing public awareness. In the hope of finding safety and protection in Europe and a fair asylum procedure, people are forced to cross the Mediterranean Sea in unseaworthy boats. Not only are state authorities and the European Union refusing to provide humanitarian aid, they are criminalizing civil sea rescue.
Because of this ongoing situation, we have started another fundraising campaign in order to make a small contribution to the essential work of Sea-Watch e.V. Their main goal is to try to save as many people as possible from drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, they are committed to educating people about human rights violations at the European borders, for example with their podcast “Grenzerfahrung”.
All the collected proceeds of the EP will go straight to Sea-Watch e.V..
