Having historical formables at all is an illogical idea. I like forming them, but the number of fictional ones should definitley outnumber historical ones. A historical empire has never existed twice separately, so what makes it different in the modern day setting with ron? The idea of moving forwards into the future is creating things that never existed before.
I've once beaten Argentina and Brazil on separate runs and happens that they were both noobs lol

That one Turkish/Romainian player who deletes your consumer factories, because only 2 factories can defended by tanks entrenched in capital: (actually you can only defend one, since Turkey justifies as soon as they load in, and you need your capital to build forts)

probably specialized
just check the training of his troops or how much dmg they do
if they have a bunch of defense: static. if they do tons of dmg, spec. if they move quickly, manouevre warfare
