Solo Travel Made Easy: How to Craft the Perfect Solo Travel Itinerary
Hey there, solo adventurers! ✈️
Ready to create an epic itinerary for your adventure? Cool, let's dive in!
Crafting a well-planned itinerary is key to a smooth and enjoyable trip.
In this video, we break down the process into easy steps to help you make the most of your travel experience. 🌍
We explore the essentials of creating a perfect travel itinerary:
1. Setting Your Priorities: Start by listing must-see attractions and activities. Prioritising what you don’t want to miss ensures you cover your interests first.
2. Planning Your Days: Organise your days logically to avoid cramming too much into one day. Allow time for travel, rest, and spontaneity. Use Google Maps or Maps.me to estimate travel times.
3. Booking Accommodations: Opt for centrally located and well-reviewed places. Great websites to check out:
- Booking.com - booking.tp.st/Gj5UrbeQ
- Hostelworld - hostelworld.tp.st/TylEKJmU
- Airbnb - www.airbnb.com.au/
4. Transportation: Research public transport, taxis, and ride-sharing services like Uber. For longer distances, consider flights, trains, or buses. Great resources to check out:
- Rail Europe - raileurope.tp.st/Vkxmz2bs
- FlixBus - global.flixbus.com/
- Rome2Rio - www.rome2rio.com/
5. Flexibility and Free Time: Build in some flexibility and free time. Overplanning can be exhausting, so ensure to leave room for spontaneity.
6. Booking Activities in Advance: For popular attractions, make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Some great activity-based websites include:
- Get Your Guide - getyourguide.tp.st/VqymCVPD
- Viator - viator.tp.st/c34pl6YI
- Trip Advisor - tripadvisor.tp.st/H5on1ZZG

    I bought compression cubes and immediately returned them when I got back home because of the same conclusion. It’s like a placebo effect - it makes you think you’re saving space but you aren’t. Also, the weird bulging actually made it more difficult to pack efficiently cause loose items like coats wouldn’t lay down flat and slip off to the side.

    Is microfiber towel safe gentle for skin as it's derived from synthetic material ?

    • @adventuretravelpro
      @adventuretravelpro 5 місяців тому

      Yes, microfiber towels are generally safe and gentle for the skin, even though they are derived from synthetic materials. They are designed to be soft and smooth, which can make them suitable for sensitive skin, reducing the risk of irritation or abrasion. However, it’s important to choose a high-quality microfiber towel to ensure comfort and safety. Some lower-quality microfiber towels might not be as gentle, so it's worth investing in a reputable brand. Also as a side tip, it's always a good idea to wash the towel before its first use to remove any manufacturing residues.

    Thanks 🙏🏻. Is microfiber more suitable than cotton for bath towel and water absorbency ?

    • @adventuretravelpro
      @adventuretravelpro 5 місяців тому

      Hi Vira, this video is mostly focused on the use of microfiber towels in the context of travelling - eg. when showering / going to the beach etc. From what I know, yes Microfiber towels are generally more suitable than cotton bath towels for backpackers because they're highly absorbent and can hold several times their weight in water! Yet despite this, they also dry much faster than cotton towels, which is convenient for backpackers who need to pack up and move between destinations regularly. Additionally, microfiber towels tend to be lighter, more compact, and more durable than cotton towels. While cotton towels are soft and comfortable, the practicality of microfiber makes them the better choice for backpacking.

    The benefit of the compression cube is that because the outer edge is smaller you are able to stick things in the nooks and crannies created by the cubes. When using the regular cubes they all stack nicely and don’t create those useable spaces.

    My son recommended the Rainleaf towel. He has travelled extensively during the last couple of years using microfiber towels most days. During this time, he used 3 different microfiber towels. He liked the Rainleaf because it held up better than the others. He ordered 5 for our family on Amazon. Went with the 24 x 48 inch size. It's good to see that Ash included this towel in her 3 Best Microfiber Towels.

    When, doing comparison, you have to compare apples to apples with the clothing put in the bags. Same exact clothing in each bag that’s a true comparison.

    • @adventuretravelpro
      @adventuretravelpro Рік тому

      Hi Shell, thanks for your comment. Yep this would be the case for most things, however this is somewhat tricky when comparing standard vs compression cubes. From my experience, most compression cubes can't be filled to the brim the same way as a standard cube, given you need to allow extra space so it can compress down after being zipped. If I filled both cubes with the exact same clothes the reality is that the compression cube would not zip up as a start, or if I put less clothes in the standard cube, it would appear baggy and loose - not how it should be packed. This is why I naturally lean towards standard cubes over compression cubes myself. I hope that helps and have a great day!

      Hi there, thanks for your comment. You're right in that generally with most packing cubes, aiming for 2/3 full is a good guide. This is because you need to allow extra space in the cube so it can compress down after being zipped. You experience this problem less so with standard packing cubes. To compare the products as closely as possible in the video, I did fill the compression cube a bit more than this. Based on my experience, I have found that you naturally fit more clothes in a standard cube vs a compression cube of the same size. Have a great day!
