I actually did notice that as well. As soon as I increased my forward lean, it became a bit harder to release the boot from the binding. I will still take that any day over the constant clicking though.

If you want to add to the simplicity of getting out of the step ons there is a simple hack you can do: ua-cam.com/video/5b5IdHyVFT0/v-deo.html I have done the same thing though I think my version is a little cleaner. I will probably make a quick video soon to show what I did. I also changed the lever to get out to the inside of the step ones.

Honestly thank you so much for your advise. I was about to give up but I am glad I fixed it. Well, at least this is a huge improvement in every way. Lean helps so much for curving for sure. I am excited to do a long term review to see what the vibes are.

I guess what I was trying to say is that it is quite uncommon in general for Vancouver as it mostly just rains a lot in winter.

Van. and had a small ranch just across the border. Every time I'd turn my windshield wipers off, withing 100 yards of the Truck crossing. And it's always raining over the Port Mann bridge. !!

@@user-ov4mk9ox8y Interesting. I actually didnt know that. I am also noticing that in general over the past couple of years it actually somehow rains a little bit less in winter but a bit more in spring/summer. Not sure if rain patters are changing somehow or maybe its something else.

I actually ended up figuring this one out. Adjusted the forward lean and the clicking is now gone while riding. I made two videos about it just now as well. If you have a similar problem - feel free to check them out and I hope it will help.
