I had to look it up too A rick of wood is a regional unit of measurement for firewood that's typically 4 ft tall and 8 ft long, but the depth can vary depending on the length of the logs. It's also a style of stacking wood with crisscrossed ends.

I had to look up the phrase "rick of wood", we call it a face cord or a 1/3 of a cord here in Maine.

have you ever tried a log dolly? It's a pair of wheels that you strap on one end of a log and you can drag it. Would that rig tow a few logs behind it when its loaded up like that?
