You are confused head voice doesn't have an airy tone, it is still a connected sound and It can have a loud volume, falsetto is the complete opposite, it has an airy velvety tone, very gentle, it cannot be loud whatsoever both falsetto and whistle are the registers with airy sound whereas belt and head voice main characteristics is a powerful fuller sound

Mariah is the only female artist who can hit a certain note so high up on the registry. I forgot what note they called it, but if you look it up you can find it.

Dont forget about us which is the song she performs in the stadium during the climax when whistling she is not doing staccato, she is doing something a bit more complex, her onsets there are aspirate abrupts and she is surgically precise with them. You can actually hear a small "ha ha ha" in the beggining of each note , she is treating those notes not like vocalizations, she is treating them as phrases and thats why they fit perfectly with melody and of course its difficulty is multiplied considering that she is doing this 9n her freaking whistle register.

There's not even any use of this video because I hope everybody knows that Beyonce CAN sing I mean she is AMAZING!! Perfect technique, and she slays in all areas of her voice. Lower register is great, belting resonance omg, head voice is perfect (the vibrato she uses with her head voice omg), dynamics, EVERYTHING!

Sorry, what ? Mariah is the epitome of singing. A little research before coming up with that video title would confirm that. If you want to know if she can sing, check out her live performance of O Holy Night whilst she was pregnant with her twins. Also take a look at I'll Be There from the unplugged album. There are so many songs I could mention like My All, Hero, Dream Lover, Without You. It's hard to give a real reaction when you don't listen to the whole song. Please check out some of these as I'm sure they will convince you that the lady can definitely sing. She also wrote or co-wrote and produced many of her songs and albums.
